A number of years ago, I watched Tommy at a small workshop and after he played he passed his Maton (mouse) to a young guitar player in the small group. After 2 minutes the young man looked up at me and said " This is just an ordinary guitar" Wrong I said ...its up to the player to bring it out" This is very true , but get one anyway
So true, I got him to sign my guitar a few weeks ago. He first played it while I was getting a stift, for like 2 seconds but it immediately sounded awesome. It's 90% the player who makes it sound well. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy a maton if you're not Tommy :)
makes me think of myself when i started playing the guitar 2 years ago.. my teacher gave me a gibson les paul en said play!! with a big smile on his face.. i couldn't tell the difference with my own guitar (most ordinary Ibanez u can find on this planet;))
Saw Tommy a few nights ago in Bristol, England. Absolutely astonishing! These YouTube clips hardly begin to convey what a magical experience it is to see this man play live. If he comes even remotely near to where you live go and see him. It'll be one of the best gigs you ever see.
Tommy, I am completly amazed at your expression of love for the music you play on your guitar. Its one thing to be good at what you do but its a special talent to be able to put such feeling into your compositions.
"Yesterday (Tuesday 7th) I saw Tommy at Cologne and he played a new song called "Ruby's eyes" named after a little girl by the same name. She and her mother came up to Tommy when he wrote the tune on the Melbourne airport a few weeks ago during his Australian tour. Suddenly she started singing and dancing along with the tune and Tommy dedicated the song to her."

I wonder why more people don't watch some of TE's lesser
famous songs. He has so many great ones!
