Thank you so much for those kind words. That's me playing, Mighty Mojo Alex Wolfson, late of Frenchtown, NJ. My buddy Banjo Billy Uke Falco filmed that at the Indian Rock last spring.
Ben Bouman once made one little vid for Harpsucker´s harmonica amps series. How small the world is :) Seems as if everybody is related to each other...
Yes, I always think of Big Walter and Carey Bell when play this sort of two-harp boogie. Of course, Ben and I have updated it by switching harp keys....
hey Adam. you are putting in practice your first position with oberblows "soprano harmonica" thing, rigth? The truth it´s that it gives a "jazzier" feel than the second position with overs. Great playing as ussual.
I bow for your perform which makes me understand what playing together, harmonizing mind and song, and how good natural sound of the harp with b-note.
hey, adam i have a quick question, i just started practicing/ playing and i noticed the harmonica i am using is a key of c hohner- panarmonic. is there a difference between mine and another hohner "c" ?
I'm disapointed to have the information of your coming in France too late for coming to Chateauvieux, but peoples have explain us the good time they have. And it's cool.
I think I understand that this exercice have for object to playing in the same tonality but with different key, but I'm not sure (I'm newbe...). This is that ?

Not bad! You've got a big sound and a solid time-sense, with audible personality.
You should probably come down out of the Bucks County hills and attend the Satan and Adam show this Thursday, 8/13, at World Cafe LIve in Philly.

Yes, you're exactly right. For at least some of this cut, I'm playing an E harp in first position.

I love that possessed thumping clodhopper of yours. It's the backbone of this performance, in my humble estimation.

I know the description says it's a Chicago exercise, but in parts it sounded very pleasantly "New Orleans". Great stuff.
