kinda slow match. it works more in favor of muta who has had alot of time in america. he pulls out the figuer 4 and the sleeper. all kinda part of that slow down, break down american style. muta almost seems at times to have a kinda crazy drunken master style.

The Great Muta is either the first or second best Japanese wrestler of all time. No wrestler in the world can compare to Muta's innovative style on any level. The moonsault comes from Muta. He took the mist to a whole new level. NWA blew it by not putting Muta and Flair in a program. Muta was buck wild and we NWA/ American fans used to go WILD when Muta showed up. The Sting/Muta matches are considered classics. Moonsault to me is the best finisher in wrestling history.

Hmmmm, you definitely have a point. Misawa wrestled 26 5-star matches. Shawn Michaels has won PWI Match of the Year 10 times. That would have been a dream match: Misawa v. Shawn Michaels.

I wish i could watch this stuff in America, cuz the WWE has been getting kinda stale in my opinion. The WWE would be more exciting if they did kinda what TNA does where they have wrestlers from Japan come in and have their people wrestle in Japan, because its kinda boring seeing the same feuds over and over again, and now that one of my favorite wrestlers Umaga was dropped it seems like the WWE just got more boring well in my opinion. I mean how sick would it be to see a Taker Muta WM match?

Well there is an Undertaker vs Jinsei Shinzaki (known for his stint in the WWF as Hakushi as well as a very short sting in ECW).

Shinzaki is the man in white getting chocked out during Muta's history promo.

And if they were still around and not giving up on wrestling I am sure you would see the internet sites having puro wrestling news and meantion the matches and so on. In the day we had mags and we read about all of wrestling. Now it's wwe and tna and wwe being the majoroty of course, Sad times in wrestling. If only the young wrestling fans had the diversity we had.

@ryoga316 High risk? the term High-Risk refers only to moves off of the top turnbuckle. the Shining Wizard can be considered to be just another move. Shining Wizard can hardly be called high-risk.

That's because American wrestling organizations stupidly think we care if a ref takes a bump. It's a part of their "entertainment" style. It gives the illusion that all hope is lost because the heel KO'd the ref, so he's free to cheat until a new ref takes over. In Japan, they know that's not really entertaining. They like seeing ref's used as props, like when Muta springboarded off the ref's back. Now, in America, that would result in a disqualificationg because the ref was "harmed".

the great muta is one of the greatest wrestling icons ever. he is even a part of wrestling history because of one of the bloodiest matches in wrestling history the muta scale was created. this wranls how much the wrestlers bled in a match. muta was hardcore before there was a hardcore

The scale used by wrestling promotions to determine the amount of blood loss during a match. It's a scale of 1 to 5 I believe, with 5 being the highest. Unless I'm missing one, I think the last 5 on American soil was Eddie Gurrerro vs. JBL No Mercy, though I think Cena vs Umaga may have surpassed it.
