  • salamat din po.

  • Oh my, that is too cute...there is nothing more cute than a westerner who appreciates the Philippines<3 I don't watch football, but now I'm a fan

  • @Philominx Don't know if he appreciates the Philippines but he had to live there because his parents were Missionaries trying to bring some good to the PI.

  • @Philominx babaw mo naman...

  • he's so handsomeeeeeee <3

  • Aww. I love you too! :) ♥

  • Mahal din kita, Tim!!!!

  • Mahal din kita haha :)

  • why is there so much confusion with TIM TEBOW?? People please UNDERSTAND the MEANING between ETHNICITY and NATIONALITY. Mr. Timothy Tebow fortunately was born in the Republic of The Philippines. He is nonetheless still a full blooded geniune AMERICAN! He has given part of his historic beliefs and humanitarianism to the Christians of The Philippines and devoted himself to HELP a 3rd world country. Thank goodness to people like him. To me, he is a genuine GOOD HUMAN BEING FILIPINO OR NOT!

  • Mahal din namin ikaw at salamat... wow Tim Tebow...

  • Oh people, just because you don't physically look Filipino doesn't mean you aren't Filipino. I'm full Pinay and I have a tita that is American, but grew up with my parents and eats our food, respects and even practices our culture, therefore, I feel that she's Filipina as well, more of an honorary Filipina, but Filipina nonetheless. :D Tebow is adorable and I'm pray for his success!

  • @AnimeNox He is more a Filipino than any of us, Gee, he does more for our country than any of us.

  • @candie8301972 LOL Amen to that!

  • @AnimeNox I have prime example of that and that is cousin Jackie. She is fluent in Cebuano and Tagalog but white as a ghost.

  • Tim Tebow is not a filipino but he was born in Makati, metro manila. His American parents who were serving as Baptist missionaries at the time. While pregnant, his mother suffered a life-threatening infection with a pathogenic amoeba. Doctors had expected a stillbirth and recommended an abortion to protect her life, although abortions are illegal in the Philippines, but she decided not to have one. That baby was TIM TEBOW.

  • @Heartland29 That don't make any sense to me. I guess my grandfather is not Filipino because both his parents were from Spain. Oh my other grandfather too who's parents were from China. What does that make me? I thought you are where you are born at. Besides aren't the real Filipino's black?

  • @candie8301972 Actually, the law in the Philippines is that one's citizenship follows one's parents'. In Philippine law, Tim is a US citizen. In US law, though, Tim is Filipino because one's a citizen of where one was born.

  • @cmq23 For real? So my kids can't be Filipino then. Damn...

  • Tim Tebow speaks tagalog because he frequently travels to the Philippines. He's building a hospital /clinic for impoverish filipinos a non profit organization in the Philippines.

  • @Heartland29 A bit of correction: Tebow himself mentioned in another interview that he understands Tagalog well enough to get along but not to speak it. Surely he knows a smattering of Tagalog words which is really to his credit.

  • @Heartland29 They frequent Mindanao and always stops over Cebu. His parents are fluent in Visayan. I am sure he is fluent in Visayan the kids in the orphanage they have are Visayan speaking.

  • Do you know that Tim Tebow was a filipino? yes he is he was born in the Philippines

  • @d3n1zc

what the? no he is not.

He was born in the Philippines but he is not blood filipino whatsoever.

  • @d3n1zc Where did you get that info? hahaha!

  • @d3n1zc I guess I am not Filipino after all. I can't claim it anymore.

  • You probably don't know but Timothy Tebow was born in Makati, Philippines by his Christian missionary parents. They stayed in Mindanao to share the love and salvation of Jesus Christ. Tim Tebow has a strong Christian conviction not minding what the world says but giving glory and honor to Jesus Christ. In fact, he shares the salvation of Jesus by writing Bible verses beneath the play codes on his wristbands, just as he once inscribed them in his eye black for his college games. Glory to God!

  • HE EPITOMIZES THE FILIPINO CULTURE- "FAMILY-ORIENTED" AND "HAVING A STRONG FAITH IN GOD"!!! keep it up!!! Inspire more people!!! =)

  • Tebow was born in the Philippines, hence, he is one of us :-) Go Tim, Go Broncos!
