It is not a highway in that way (autobahn) its a autobahn-like builded "Bundesstraße" where the recommended speed limit is also 130 and you actually also are allowed to drive as fast as u want. for the case that somebody wonders why the sign in 1.21 is yellow and he was firing with 300 along the street....

theirs only a breif few sections that are "unlimited" however their is still laws against carless driving.

this is NOT the german Autobahn(Highway) it is just a normal Landstraße(road). if a Landstraße has to lines in each direction and a crash bareer in the middle there is also no speed limit like on the autobahn. on the autobahn the lines are more expandet and you can go easier at this speed, and also faster if you want!

and the steering wheel is always on the left here in germany;)

You people who say it isn't the Autobahn are wrong. If you look closely, right before he accelerates, you will see a white sign with black lines crossing through it. That is the indication that there are no speed limits on that stretch of road. It may not be the "actual" super highway, but it is in fact one of the branches of it.

That's not the German highway. On the Autobahn, there are always blue signs.

Be glad that the police didn't stop you- on the German streets with yellow signs (I think, it's a "Bundesstraße" here), you are only allowed to drive 100km/h.

You´re right, it´s not an Autobahn - it´s a "Kraftfahrstraße". A "Kraftfahrstraße" is a big Bundesstraße, what looks a bit like an Autobahn. There you´re allowed to drive as fast as you want, if there is no sign!

Also his license would not get chopped because this is on the autobahn and what he is doing is perfectly legal.

well I have to say that whilst there is no speed limit (when signed accordingly) it is a question of rational driving at high speed. This has to be learned. I've driven at high speed now for 25 years in Germany and would argue that really only 3+lanes should be permitted for no limits.The ratio of speed difference in this example shows that the driver has no chance of escape if a car going much slower on the right suddenly pulls out. It is far safer to do 200+in the far left on a 3+lane Autobahn
