She sung this at her 8/13/2001 concert at Madison Square Garden. The concert was finished, she came out on stage by herself, sat down, her legs dangling from the stage and in the total silence, no musical background, she started singing this as if she was talking to herself and each of us in the public. I thought I would never stop crying. One of the most amazing moments in my 22 years in NYC. Will never forget ad I still thank her for that.

Every word in this song reminds me of my grandma! She went through sooo much during her short 69 years of life. She hitchhicked from Oklahoma to California when she was only 12. She did her very best to raise 5 kids on her own. She was put down and beaten on by men, a few of her kids, and even a few of her 15 grandkids. But she always stayed strong, she was kind, she loved, she easily forgave, and she loved everyone and hated no one. "I miss you grandma". RIP 06/03/2007.

@ShystyHeights82 sorry you had to go through so much. I also lost someone. But she caused the break up and yes it was my first. Thing is no matter what i cannot go back and no matter how real our love was there is a boundary when it is crossed , you just cant go back. So i sad Good Bye...
