  • Amazing film this. Should have won Best Documentary Oscar. It wasn't even nominated!

  • Where/how can I see this film?

  • @rogerrodd its on youtube...

  • i have this magazin in my grand dad attick, i ""d"' abouth this 1973 or 76 ?!

  • And God has forgiven them...for they have not sinned.. Bless them all...what a tragedy to have to live through...

  • I recomend you to read this book:

Miracle in the Andes: 72 Days on the Mountain and My Long Trek Home

    Written by Nando Parrado.

  • @lizandrol i recomed it too. but at first you one should read the book from pierse paul read

  • @Livio44 I read both books, and I think the book "Alive" -not being bad- has 2 things i didnt like: 1- Pauls Read book changed some of the original speech and dialogue - something Parrado didnt do in his book- 2- The book emphasis TO MUCH on details on what the survivors ate - something so personal to my taste-. its like when someone goes to the bathroom, giving you details and all... Its enough for me that you're in there, period.

  • @ilj33 ok, i like both books very much. but, do you know where I can watch or by this film 'Stranded'?

  • @Livio44 yes i do, i sent it to your message inbox

  • @ilj33 thank you for that whole stuff. i will enjoy it

  • @Livio44 You're very welcome

  • thank you very much!

  • @Livio44 Thank you for the recomendation but I read it for many years ago. Excellent book too.

  • It is easier than you could believe.

Think of it:"You are dead, your friends and family still alive will only survive using your... body" (crude, plain and real)

Would you mind? Will you refuse it? Can we imagine how hard was it?

    No

None of us can even get close to it, hard to do, hard to explain.

If we have a soul, it would be gone, if we don't... Who cares?

I 'd give my life for others, even more "the box" I use to go through this times.

I was a child, they make me proud to be Uruguayan!

  • @0:36 when the reporter asks him how they survive what did they eat canessa was like didn't know how to answer and then Nando interrupts say they can't talk about that right now mayn that must of been hard

  • this story brings to the surface many questions : like the reality of God , luck ,determination , human endurance and so on . what is man ? what is his purpose in life ? many such questions of philosophy. thanks broken89girl

  • I've seen this entire document on ARTE yesterday, I have gotten the book of PIERS PAUL READ for years on the shelf, I must say the story of these men still moves me a whole lot. To see and hear the men tell it again after 30 years it is still very moving. Only God knows what they have been through.

  • un ejemplo de vida!

  • DIS IS D MOST INCREDIBLE REAL STORY,.

  • 2006
