I get the feeling that by the end of the PS3 game made by team Ico, we'll learn why the queen is the way she is.

I bet you play as a girl in the next game and she will turn into the queen.

i think that Mono (Sotc dead girl) is actually the Queen, because Wander says to dormin that she was sacrificed for a darkest fate

hey, I have a question! Who is the all black lady that sends Ico(I think thats the boys name) away on a boat at the end? She looks EXACTLY like Yorda except black, even her face was black.

Yorda, the queen was going to use her to support her with a new body and she could never leave the castle once the process was complete and was but ICO killed the queen

yorda is the queens daughter. thats why they look alike. and ico came BEFORE shadow of the colossus in the timeline. I'm not trying to sound like a know-it-all or anything but the director of this game said so himself.

she is evil, represented by darkness like the spirits, while Yorda represnts kindness, innocence, and good therefore she is white. But you can see thier similatrites cuz the Queen's face is white
