  • The yellow paint on the back carriages spoils the appearance and makes it unauthentic. Only circus trains had yellow paint on the NZR.

  • @quietv8 Not quite true. Many non revenue wagons were yellow such as La wagons for bridge and weighbridge inspectors; wooden Kc wagons etc were used by the stores branch to shift freight. Then there was the original Northerner.....
