  • Im getting my AA in Aministration of Justice is that all I need to become a Probation Officer or do I need a BA?

  • waste of my time, i want my 1:18 back

  • Look at this fat retard with his lousy sociology degree. I bet he sits in his cubicle with his thumb up his rear all damn day!

  • But amputees cannot do anything in law enforcement right?

  • I've been trying to get into probation for almost three years.

  • Hello I am a real expert in Probation. You sir ARE NOT! I know because I have interned with the Federal Probation. You must have at least a four year degree and experience to become a Federal Probation officer. Most state probation jobs that I know require a four year degree. It depends on the state. This cat has no clue on how to become a probation officer. He doesn't make sense when he talks. POs visit people placed on homes, work. that doesn't even make sense. What a dunce!!

  • fuck probation officers, their dicks with a retarded job

  • @dazedandsublime ur retarded for saying sumthing like that

  • @msmusic32 you're retarded for not knowing how to spell "you're" and "something"

  • It is not a retarded job. You must have been on probation and violated. That attitude will get you no where. If an offender actually puts forth the effort then they will successfully complete supervision. I know there are POs that dont give a damn, but that is no excuse. You need to learn to use the correct "They're" when you write.

  • @lillylawgirl actually im on probation now and havent violated, its just when i go see them my specific probation officers are all total ass holes, im under JPC so i have 3 that switch, and they are all ass holes. and why can't i smoke weed? besides it being against the law what is one thing it hurts? if you can name one i wont start again when i get off probation

  • @dazedandsublime I figured it was one of the 2, you were either on or off w/ violation. I'm glad to hear that you have not violated. I'm truely sorry to hear they're assholes. I hate it when people become POs that dont care about their job! Well, one thing the more weed you smoke the more brain cells you kill, isnt that reason enough. Weed makes you intoxicated and you don't have any sense of control over your body. That could get you killed or someone else. Think about it.

  • @lillylawgirl new studies have shown that some brain cells grow back, so im not too worried about that, dont wanna live too old anyway. and i smoked every single day all day for like 2 years plus a little less frequently bfor those two years and never got hurt once. never even fell or anything. you just gotta know what youre doin. i wanna be a PO just so i can not ever give them UAs, nothin wrong with weed

  • @dazedandsublime Well they have also shown that Students who smoke pot often develop concentration and learning problems, and long and throat problems. With a list of other problems. I hope everything goes well with you while you are on probation. Just try and be respectful to them.

  • @lillylawgirl my least favorite thing about probation, it turns kids who only smoke weed into hard drug users. i gotta go my whole summer after my junior year now without smoking pot, and thats not gonna happen, but since its in my system so long i literally cant. so im forced to use things like ecstasy, vyvanse, etc, mostly amphetamines. thanks! (: love you guys

  • @lillylawgirl p.s. everything i write on this website is fiction and for entertainment purpouses only (: cant have my POs thinkin im doin drugs

  • @dazedandsublime Listen, You don't need to write about any drug usage or any other criminal activity, regardless of it's fictional or not. Whether you think so or not, POs check the internet for things just like what you posted about smoking weed. It won't seem like entertainment when the question you about it. Again, hope everything goes well.

  • @lillylawgirl do you drink? im sure youre of legal age so itd be ok for you to say you did

  • @dazedandsublime No, actually I do not drink. What I'm saying is that when ur on probation you are not supposed to be smoking weed, and if you get caught it could result in violation. If the POs see where you've posted things about smoking weed, then they will more of an ass to you than ever. I'm just trying to be helpful. I know all about how POs think.

  • @lillylawgirl its all under different names, and i can pass the UAs so im all good. but im sayin friends went from only smoking weed and being against other drugs, to not smoking weed and always doing hard drugs because they were on probation. its a bad system man

  • @dazedandsublime Ok, just making sure, and I'm glad that you can pass. Yeah, sometimes probation helps people, and sometimes it doesn't. A lot depends on the willingness of the offender and the PO. The systm has its flaws that need to be fixed. Take care.

  • To become a PO you need to poly connections to get the job.litical/fami

  • Probation is not fair i wish they had to go through something similar with their DRINKING, for all us non-violent, hard working pot-heads out here. It is a double standard and i KNOW most of them have a napolian complex. All of "them" suck ass. Its not fair or cool what they are doing to families, and people in general.

  • so how long it takes to can become a probation officer

  • i am n college majoring in psychology, minoring in criminal justice, and i am gonna b a probation officer for los angeles county....

  • Good luck I hope you get your ass beat and your teeth kicked in. Congrads for finding something you will enjoy =P

  • I am a PO it kind of sucks, not a lot of action if that is what you are into...lots of paper work

  • Where I live you need a 4 year degree to be eligible to take the probation officer civil service exam.

  • I' am in college myself to be a probation officer and No you dont need a four year degree just a two year i really like learning about this subkect because it really intersting.

  • so you need a two year how and is it hard cuz ive been trying to research this and is it like were you work local in the area or like you have to go places?

  • @beetlejuice2001 Yes you need a four year degree in most states, as well as the Feds. Very few agencies left that only require a two year degree.

  • I am in college majoring in criminal justice to become a probation officer.

  • I seriously thinking about doing probation work.
