  • That spanish music was not appropriate!

  • Comment removed

  • yeah the innkeeper really looks like typical British ;-)

  • Why the fuck are you using Spanish music? You're just encouraging the Argies.

  • your voice is so annoying

  • Great video! Shows off the Falklands well :-) I love my country

(p.s. It's actually just Stanley, the Port part was dropped in the 50s)

  • Do you actually think that calling a group of people " pirates" is an insult ? Argentines and spanish have this thing about calling the british pirates .Its realy not that much of an insult !

  • @paul67ism english speaking users over here has called us Idiot knobhead, and indigenas and ignorants as well etc, that a bunch of insults isn't it when some videos over here are talking about the tourism for the falklands malvinas argentinas.

  • The Falklands Islands must be unahibited in early history, but that fact is that they are located in 300 miles from argentina not the south part of argentina but the whole territory of argentina 300 miles even if british and franch and spanish try to gain soreveignity of the islands the main true is that their argentina territory and they deserve as argentinians to live worship work and all the advantages to be granted to them,as well with tha british islanders tha live in there.

  • yes these islands were argentians but were colonized by the british and taken away from the argantian people by force I love the english language the culture and their benefits they has given to the humanity but can't take their actions in other nations.

  • Los Islas Malvinas son argentinas.

  • sick unibrow!

  • DONT FORGET THESE ISLANDS ARE BRITISH ADN NOT ARGENTINA. WE FOUGHT HARD TO GET BACK THESE ISLANDS WHICH ARE RIGHTLY OWERS

  • WELCOME TO ARGENTINA

  • EN 1883 HABIA GENTE VIVIENDO EN LAS ISLAS Y ERAN ARGENTINOS.

ACEPTEN LO QUE DICE LA ONU, SON EL PEOR EJEMPLO PARA EL MUNDO ENTERO.

    MALVINAS ARGENTINAS

    AHI VIVIA GENTE ARGENTINA

  • @ratalino73 The illegal argie soldiers were kicked out in 1833 - get your dates right

  • @EddieExile The irony is that they were not Argentinian - but from the USA. And possibly a double agent at that. Vervet was granted being the Argentinian governor of the islands by Buenos Aires in the same way as I could for example land on the Bahamas and ask some other country to make me their governor.

North Korea might fall for that one, I shall have to try it.

  • @alanheath3 yes these islands were argentinians they belong to the peplles of argentina but was colonized by british becuse britain is a potencyan powerful empire I love the english language but can't take their actions in other countries.

  • LAS MALVINAS SON ARGENTINAS PIRATAS INGLESES

  • @ratalino73 Los piratas son los que invadieron!

  • I Went admired the tranqil scenery the rough seas and beutiful wild life a truely and Inspiring place and then some geezer In a areoplane dropped 2 500 pound bombs on me

  • @brendancoul You can imagine how I felt. I went back thinking well at least I am not going to suffer any aerial bombardment like happened in 1982. You can imagine how disgusted I was when as soon as I landed in Port Stanley, a seagull defecated on my head!

  • Have the eyebrowns been painted on to that Barman?

  • @jVlonzter BS "falklands" is bound to be a forgotten name like tanganyka

  • Britain never ever let Falkland Islands go!!!! God save the Queen...

  • Friends don't swear. These lands should belong to Mongolia =D

  • this are LAS ISLAS MALVINAS DE ARGENTINA.

  • @simon8850 Fuck u this is UK property !!!

  • In Argentiina more people die from crime and hunger poverty nowadays than the falkland war, so people living in the island live much better being english

  • Argentina should grant kelpers thrice the benefits they have under British rule, who historically considered them a third-class inbred race.

Piratas!

  • we won the war without america so they dont need u shouting in the street

  • @swanyAJ They did help us. But then the Soviet block helped the imperialists.

  • @alanheath3 yawn imperialists..you Spanish and Italians stole Argentina from the Native Indians.

  • @thehandpranker On some other site someone gave me a pile of abuse about being Argentinian and so as an intellectual argument and attempt at a wind up I started abusing him back in Spanish.

I was actually in the military in 1982. I won't say which side.

  • @jVlonzter Where did you read that? French people were before the British and Argentina had a government in the islands because, Argentina was an independent country from 1816 and the islands were occupied by the British IN 1833!!!! Hey, that doesn't mean I support Argentina, despite I am from Argentina. But, please... you don't even know dates to talk like that.

  • @Antimoron2 France had a settlement 1764-1767 but left because the spanish wanted them it, Britains first settlement was from 1765-1770, the spanish took over the french one 1767-1811, Britain had another settlement from 1771-1776 then the united provinces took over for 1829-1831, The USA had control for a month dec 1831 to jan1832, Argentine confed took over Dec 1832 – Jan1833 then Britain in january 1833 took over until the 1982 war and have had control since, britain has a rightful claim

  • Thanks for this video. I wonder if that bartender was born there? Do the locals have a heavy Cockney accent like him?

I have to wonder what drove the first English Settlers there?

I do believe that if the majority of inhabitants wanted to pledge aligance to Argitina that England would have likely surrendered the Island.

Does anybody know, can an Argentine buy land and move to the Falklands?

  • @cyberpine Its sort of an Australian accent rather than cockney and yes all falkland islanders speak like it

  • WELCOME TO ARGENTINA

  • He talks like a gay!!!! But he is not gay, but looks like.....

  • In the video there is no Argentian sites of interest,.You know why?

    ARGENTIANS don't live there,Brit's do,for well over 100 years!

The British People beleve that the wishes of the Islanders are paramont.

    They want to be British.

THEY don't trust Argentina,30 years ago they tryed

to take the island by force,AND KILL THEM.

    They HATE U.

Argentina has no say in what happens. They lost that right when they started a unprevoked WAR and made the UK send men 6000 miles to fight and die.

  • STOP SHOUTING!

Imagine if Argentina decided to take Isle of Wight? These Islands belong to the natives/indigenous people of South America - even if no one lives there. What vile people there are in the world who think they should take the lands from the indigenous away from them.

  • @leenicklen Um what? You know Argentina was colonised by the Spanish right? So the vast majority of Argentines aren't the "indigenous" people. No one is calling for the "Spanish" settlers to give Argentina back to the indigenous peoples of South America, so why should the UK give the Falklands "back" to the Argentines? If these islands supposedly belong to the native/indigenous people of South America like you claim then I suppose neither the UK or Argentina has a right to them.

  • @apedosmi1 98.6% of the population of Argentina come from somewhere else. And the Falkland Islands were never part of the domain of the native inhabitants who were largely exterminated by the European colonists who formed what is today Argentina.

  • @apedosmi1 You have a good point but the Falkland Islands were uninhabited. Most of the ancestors of the people who live there today were living there when most of the present day population of Argentina lived somewhere else - mainly Italy and Spain. The latter colonists went on to steal the land from the native Americans committing genocide in the process.

98.6% of the population of Argentina comes from somewhere else according to the Argentine census.

  • @leenicklen As that's all based on events from hundreds of years ago though, maybe we should just look at the here and now eh? Let's think about the concept of self determination. What do the people who actually inhabit the Falkland Islands want? Apparently the vast majority are in favour of remaining a British overseas territory. What right do you have to deny them their right to self determination?

  • 1982, Islas Malvinas.

  • @Eddieposted Only the difference is that the British colonists did not exterminate the locals as the Spanish and Italian colonists did in what is today Argentina.

  • @Eddieposted Something which is ignored by the Argentinian colonists (who come mainly from Europe in land stolen by the native Americans)

  • Can't help but feel the Spanish music is a bit innapropriate consedering the Falklands is proudly British, and no i am not British or a Falklander.

  • @iamthisguy007 but the Falklands were Spanish, the Spaniards named it "Malvinas" before the British got it so I don't see the music being inappropriate it's just paying tribute to it's past

  • @olg06 The word Malvinas comes from a corruption of the French Malouin meaning someone from Saint Malo - where the French settlers came from.

  • Comment removed

  • @alanheath it was change to a spanish name after spain bought it from france fair and squared. Besides Malouin-Malvinas still Latin xD dont u know

  • @olg06 The name Falklands goes back to the end of the seventeenth century. The French occupied part of the islands in 1764. Therefore the names Falklands is older as applied here. As for what the Latin name is or is not, it is rather ridiculous unless of course Argentina is now claiming that this was part of the Roman Empire.

  • @alanheath ??? I never even mentioned Argentina xD all I said is that either name Malouin-Malvinas which is Spanish and French are part of the Latin romance language ya moron therefore should Stop being neurotic over some spanish(latin) music playing in the background, My god!!!

  • @olg06 I don't think you have a university degree in clarity. I clearly explained the origin of the word Malouin although that may be too difficult for you to understand. I also fail to see how I am being neurotic over some Spanish music.

  • @alanheath3 please see my first comment that was made to @iamthisguy007 before you came along and yes you are neurotic

  • @olg06 You must be either some brilliant medical genius being able to diagnose people you have never seen or met nor know in any way. Either that or just a brainwashed fantacist.

  • @alanheath3 look who's talking

  • @olg06 Where have I even mentioned Latin music never mind getting neurotic over it? If anyone is neurotic it would appear to be you.

  • @alanheath WOW after Nine Months pass u still stalking me with this same subject! Neurotic? You need to see a Psychologists stat.

  • @alanheath why is ridiculous because you decided to call it falklands malvinas forever and falklands forever.

  • @jVlonzter you pay the peaple for stay in the islands...pirates for ever....

is too far away from you hell

  • @jVlonzter you pay the peaple for stay in the islands...pirates for ever....

  • heres a quick one to clear this up, i spent 6 months in the falklands, it was mega, and these are the facts, its british because british were the first people ther and claimed, argentina have no right to claim it, just because of where it is, if thats the case chile might aswell claim it, It was originally british and always will be, IF the argentinians discovered the isle of white or isle of man even tho its on our doorstep it would be thers, im sick of argentinians pratting on about this,

  • @cufccufccufc go home litle boy....comming with big armament terrorist.. pirates....stop pay the kelpers and you will see the argentinian peaple have prohivited to step the islands and you pay for 2000 population? in my home are more peaple than you falklands islands

(sorry i write so bad in english)

  • Regards to the Falckands Island people.. Peace rules! with love from Argentina

  • sicily = italy

    balearic islands = spain

    crete = greece

    shetland islands = uk

    malvinas = argentine

    It's so easy...

  • @mallocuneo quiet you, It's really not up to the Argentinian or the UK government it's up to the Islanders

  • Comment removed

  • @mallocuneo Wrong.

  • malvinas is from argentine or malvines will be independient.......

  • malvinas is from argentine thats´s sure.....

  • @UKRod At the time the Americans liberated Grenada in 1983, it had ceased to be British.

  • He walks into a British pub and expects an ice cold beer .... isn't he asking too much???

  • i think both country, Argentina and England want the same. Exploit oil, Gas and the big reserve of fish. But if we just look a map of the world the Malvinas are quiet far away from England. It is few miles away from Argentine cost, so it´s belong to Argentina that´s it. Do you imagine an Argentinian flag on the isle of wight ? i think English people would not agree. This is the same. Stop to still our ressources.

  • @lefranshut So really Britain failed in her objectives to keep Poland secur

u would say all that cus ur from arigentia lol, please read a history book and look who FIRST had the island , lol

the british owned that island longer than ur histroy OF A NATION

  • @fairman3456 that´s oyur "history" book!

  • @alejoctess i think u find the falkland is british so get over ur self they will never belong to u !!

and if u attack again we will kick ur ass AGAIN

  • @fairman3456 i don´t know anything about your country history, and i don´t need to know anything. But do you personaly really care of that island ?

  • @lefranshut YES I D o why cus there british land with british people!!!

    there british always will be

  • @fairman3456 your too good

  • @lefranshut Personally I do care - maybe there is a degree of solidarity between British people.

At the end of the day, if Argentina made some sensible suggestions then maybe the population would accept a change in nationality.

If people in Argentina were not brainwashed in schools into claiming these islands then there would be no problem. Perhaps Argentina could do something about giivng the land it stole back to the native Americans.

  • @alanheath solidarity ? i just mind, if one day your government (not you) decide to give back the island, do you really think we´r gonna killed everybody ? and eat them haha or whatever ? please understand, british can stay british wherever they want, i´m sure there are more British in Buenos Aires than on the Malvinas, and i they are good people. Then if british are too pround of there flag then they can go to London, that´s your capital. And we are going to win the world cup hehe

  • @lefranshut If the population of the Isle of Wight were Argentinian then no-one in Britian would be complaining. The Faroe Islands are closer to the UK than to Denmark but no-one in Britain claims them because we are not brainwashed from an early age into believing they are part of our country.

Britain was on the Falkland Islands long before Argentina existed and long before your ancestors stole the land that is Argentina today from the native Americans.

  • @alanheath who is brainwashed ? why do you personaly care of this land 10000 miles away from your land ? i don´t know your counntry histrory and i don´t really want to know anything. Yes we are only 200 years old and what ? i don´t understand your point.

  • @UKRod Yea but the Japanese don't want Hawaii. Plus Hawaii is actually important unlike the Falklands. Britain doesn't even gain anything from having the Falklands.

  • British empire is alive and well.

  • @GanEdenAustralia the Falklands war Had taken place between two armies. not one coward army who's fighting Unarmed people. so don't even try to compare England or Argentina to the filthy criminal army of israel who is Professional in shelling the towns and hospitals, red cross by air. & btw stop get ur nose into UK arse. hypocrite creature.

  • @Honolul123 LOL

  • Wow that guy behind the bar in the pub has one serious unibrow!!! lol

  • Falkland islanders want to be British. You cannot force people off their land anymore.

  • ARGENTINA FTW!!!

the falkland islands are faaaaar away from the UK,Meanwhile Argentina is next to them, besides we were the first country that had people on the islands, you were the invaders.

and we still say that the Falkland islands is argentinian territory ;)

  • @sebamkfan Argentina didn't exist when the British settlers came. Why is Argentina so annoyed. The Faroe islands, which are just off Scotland, are owned by Denmark. Do we care? No! The Argentine government just uses this issue as a distraction for the Argentine public. If the President says "We want the Falkland islands." The Argentinian public goes "What a lovely patriotic person" and supports them.

  • @sebamkfan Why don't they just become Argentinians I meant what's the big deal. They're both white anyways.

  • @Pianist1232 Why doesnt the US become Indian again?

  • @GanEdenAustralia wtf that's completely different. Plus in Argentina there are immigrants from a variety of European nations so I don't see what's the big deal. I mean, it's just this stupid little island. No one probably even gives a crap back in English it's just u guys that actually live there that are obsessed about it.

  • @Pianist1232 o one probably even gives a crap back in English

dont u mean back in UK there no such thing as english,

2nd, it shows how much u no , the british feel very strongly about our falkland island and yes WE do give a crap thats why the british went to war with them , so next time think before u speak

  • @fairman3456 I meant England anyways I still find it pretty dumb. I mean, it's just the little island in the middle of nowhere -.- and hey I' not stupid. I'm smarter than some dumb american lol At lest I know that the folkland island are. Ask an american and they'd be like wtf r u talking about?

  • @Pianist1232 I mean, it's just the little island in the middle of nowhere

it doesent matter if it a little island in a middle of no where first its british land 2nd there are over 3,000 british people that that want to remain british and 3rd its not that little it saround the same size as wales

  • @fairman3456 *cough cough* little :P seriously dude, In my high school alone there are over 4000 students. But on the dumb little island there are only 3000 people. That's like nothing at all. :/ r u even british? wtf why does anyone care about some little island at the patagona. seriously

  • @fairman3456 Well to me it seems like UK and Argentina are fighting over a rock in their backyard. lol

  • @Pianist1232 first of u retard, if u bother to no anything but ur still in school so i no why u dont no much,

where ever its 1000000 million people or 3,000 people there british subjects down there that want to remain british and are british and thats why the UK protects them,

u prob dont even no the Granda war when 1500 americans was taken hostage what happen shortly after wards the usa went to war in that small island

  • @Pianist1232 @Pianist1232 so dont give me that crap there 4,000 in ur school crap,

at the end of the day there british people down there .

are what do u mean tehre dumb island god are u that thick?

Im british from london, and the reason why THE UK cares about that islands is cus there british LAND there part of UK one of 22 other Territory's all over the world the UK has

  • @Pianist1232 well it would to u , cus 1 ur young andin school and 2nd ur not from the UK or the argienita

at the end ofthe day its british land and it will stay that way , its been british long since ur nation even exsisited

  • Argentinians are like Palestians claiming something that ISNT theirs!

  • @GanEdenAustralia After to talk about Argentina or Palestine clean you ass. Piche canguro<

  • @GanEdenAustralia Zionist are incomparabel singular claiming to be superiour HAHA :-)

  • @GanEdenAustralia Palestinians did not occupy any lands. It's their land. They did not come from parts of the world to live in a land not theirs .. Open your mind and your eyes, ignorant fool.

  • @Honolul123 Oi knobhead, these "palestinians" are EDOMITES YOU FUCKING TOOL!

  • @GanEdenAustralia Gaza war has exposed everything, Palestinians gave a wonderful example for the world to resist the Zionist crimes and hatred. To live in dignity and freedom. While the Zionists are working so hard in the absence the facts through the media, as you do and others who are "hired for that purpose".

  • @Honolul123 LOL

  • These islands are British territory - always have been and always will be. Argentina should stop its false propaganda.

  • Long live this beautiful Brittish Territory! Argentina has no right to this beautiful land!

  • @thewildcat1000 why do you say they have no right?

  • Comment removed

  • Hey amarica man you mean a population of 2,000 British Falkland Islanders people.

  • We should develop good relation, i know that's dificult but all depends of governments... Falkland's island are also in Argentine Platform... saludos from Argentina brothers! ;)

  • I'm french and argentine and i can say that in Argentina they think UK only wants Falkland's island for oil, money!! And in UK they think the same for Argentina!! We have to stop with these problems! We wish we would have better presidents too because the one we have is a disaster!!

  • 1810.. when spain gave Argetina the independnce because of this we inherited all of the territory they had, including malvinas which were under their domain.when fuking british decided to conquer malvinas they expeled at gun point the troops that were inhabiting malvinas

so shut the fuck up and go home.

its true that they are in the argentinian plataform but thats not an excuse its tru, but historical records show that they should be part of Argetina

  • if there was no oil Argentina wouldn't care about the islands. the British people will accept the people of the Falklands as long as they want to be British. the Argentinians only want money.

  • That's a very true point.

  • And what about the British people that do not agree with the fact that Britain is drilling for oil off the Falklands??

  • @hermangu , Free country, free thought

The sandwich islands and Falklands should be pressured into becoming a independent state.

You wont like that, Since your trollish snobbery cannot stand for anything less then having the islanders tarred feathered and exiled.

  • Lol i`ve been to Stanley 4 times (I work on cruise ships) its really an awesome place, really friendly people there.

  • It's so obvious these Islands belong to the UK. The red telephone box and the dartboard in the pub, conclusive proof if it were ever needed.

    Rule Britannia !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeaa well actually the majority of the 2000 islanders came over from Britain during the 80s. And that is a FACT!!

So yes you it obvious that they were PLANTED there. Not only that Obasilias.., you are from Canada... wonder how many native Indiands were killed to make place for the British and French? You are probably from British Columbia... shame you had to change their Native Aboriginals names and name it after Britain...Gosh now the whole world can tell who STOLE that land.

  • That's like saying all the Spanish and others should move out of Argentina and everybody who isn't a native should move out of the Americas.

  • World citizens not to visit these islands! all who live there are usurpers, the classic British pirates thieves. English back what is not theirs

  • Shut up moron.

  • @marcosarg183 the british founded a colony there before argentina was a country

  • @yayrum Sorry to tell you, that Argentintina became an independent county in 1816. Since that time Argentina was rulling Malvinas (falkland) island with a governor.

In 1833 England came to Malvinas (flakland) island and invaded it.

    Please, read more be4 writing...
