yes it was a tragic occorance, i was there, that night and the next few days as CERT from Laurelbrook Academy, the tornado shredded trailers, there was one that we glanced at thinking it was good, then taking a look relized it was upside down in the original location, i believe 5 people died on the mountain, all of them living i mobile home.
I was very disappointed also that there was no news about this. I believe it was because it happened up in the hills of a small town....Regardless, people died and should have been covered. This was my tribute to those who suffered...
I wasn't aware of this tornado until I did a little research into the ef-4 tornadoes of that day. I've heard of the Ringgold tornado to the southeast of this one, but this one never was mentioned in any news story that I've come across. Sort of like the forgotten F-5 - this is the forgotten EF-4. Thank you for the video.
