being a Rai and born and braught up in India i never knew the rai/limbu language and never ever heard any song. But conincidently i see this song here and later i saw the original track/video also in u tube. I felt very much happiness. Thanks from my heart to the bhai/bahini/sathi whoever uplaoded the song over here. But i am still confused whether the Rai/Limbu/Subba etc are speak the same language or some defference is there?

@jitenkrai This is 21st century. All Kirat or Kiratas must unify. In Nepal, Kirat is organizing an international conference call Kirat Mahotsav to safeguard common identity and development of Kirati culture, language and tradition. The three-day Mahotsav will be held at Tundikhel from April 12-14. Kiratis from Deheradhun, Sikkim, Darjeeling and Assam of India, Hong Kong, UK, Japan, USA and some other countries will participate in the function.

@jitenkrai now all Kirat gonna speak same language. Kirati script has already been formalized and agreed by rai, limbu, sunuwar yakkha. other minorities kiratis like hayu, dhimal, jirel, thami and so on will also follow later.

@sabilimbu well yakthungba doesn't actually regards to our clans like wanem, thebe etc. yakthumba is what we call ourself in our language. limbu is name derived from somewhere meaning bow warrior or something but yakthungba is in pure limbu language.
