The stuff coming out of nuclear power plants is pure steam from water cooling reactors. Ironically, they are our "green" solution. You should have shown regular coal power plants that destroy many kilometres of vegetation around them due to their offset blanketing the ground. They also cause cancer worse than cigarettes.
@kalle74 It's a good song to put to a video like this, but the song is actually about humanity being its own worst enemy. If you've seen this performed live, they play reels of raw humanism and human disgrace. Not anything to do with Earth. We do an almost unrecognisable amount of damage to this planet compared to the planet itself.
It's in our nature to think we're important and in control, but we're not. We're insignificant to Mother Nature and this year should have already pointed that out.
@PoweredByRenesis It was played at BEC. The three skyscrapers on their set became screens for projections of war footage through the last century. It played into Stockholm Syndrome. The following night it opened and was played into Uprising. Portions from Exogenesis were also played throughout intervals across both sets.
Or I could have been dreaming it all. I was 20ft away so it might not have been them.
@saltesc That was only Exo Part 1: Overture. They have never, ever played Part 2 or Part 3 live. Matt has stated that he's too afraid to fuck up Part 2 if they play it live and also said that it's pointless to only play Part 1 and Part 3. I kinda think you were dreaming... ^^
@kalle74 I think the human disgrace is what we do to each other.
How can we look after a planet when we can't even look after ourselves? The majority of the world lives on less than $2 a day while middle-class minorities like you and I are "doing their part" by planting a tree against a cause the vast majority of scientists agree is ridiculous.
I don't want it to come across that I disagree with you, because I don't, but I think we have somewhat bigger priorities in terms of our disgraces.
@saltesc Sure but...we drain resources from the planet, since the mists of time. Actually, unfortunately, every time we do it again, someone is robbed. Always the same.
So, both aspects, human and natural are inexctricably linked...:o(
@kalle74 And in sweet irony, Earth's resources are only precious to us. So who are we really looking after the planet for if we can't even look after our own race's morals and societies?
To every Uploader Comment: I agree completely. And the pictures of whaling, it's disgusting and disturbing what people do...
