Lobsang Sangay has absolutely no authority and legitimacy. He is the head of a pretend government with no legitimate claims to any land. He and his group of descendants of former privileged lamas and serf owners are just playing an imaginary game of forming a country with a head of state with underlings to serve their every need. They are playing this useless, make-believe game well into adulthood when people in the real world have long since moved on to lead productive lives.
