When I first listened to this I thought it was crap and a few of the words/verses are wrong but I listened to it again cos I love the song and after listening to it again and again I gotta say I really like how you sing it and you really add a different feel and twist to the song. If anybody was to ask me why i love this Kim Carnes recording so much, it would be like asking for the moon or perhaps the sun. It is just so beautiful, that it almost defies any rational analysis. That voice of hers, which makes you think she must be taking some of Rod Stewarts throat lozenges, just adds to the beauty of it. The lyrics, too, are somewhat mysterious, almost poetical. If we could bring Betty Davis back from the dead, i am sure she would love it too.
