We already have a means for good people to come here and we always have had that. Millions of immigrants have gone through the process in spite of the cost or length of time it takes. please close the boarders I lived in SAN Diago when I was in the NAVY and I could only afford to live in Chulavista and I seen them run across the back yard into the USA. I was told that only 20 % were sent back and they keep trying to come back It does no good to lock them up it is a big money waste that could be used to help the USA . I got lucky and was made a E5 in 2 months and moved to La vista never to see that problem again.

My state treats illegals with kid gloves to the point that they often don't generate warrants and give illegals serious jail time because they're concerned about the ACLU crawling down its throat. Francis Hernandez, now serving 67 years, was an illegal with an 18 page rap sheet and 0 deportations. He wrecked his SUV at 90 MPH into a truck then into a baskin robbins, killing 3 people including a 3 year old child.

@cottonceena Even then they refuse to admit it. About a yr ago, a woman who was a director filming a documentry on illegals was using an illegal as an interpreter. That same interpreter killed her daughter while driving drunk. It didn't change her view.
Then just last week a democratic state senator was hit by an illegal drunk driver going 60mph. The illegal when arrested, said "You can't do anything to me, I'll just go back to Mexico". Even that didn't change the politicians mind.

It's bad enough for a city to draw illegals to it by becoming a "sanctuary city." Seattle needs to realize the very serious consequences of that irresponsible policy to the rest of the people of the state. These rapes were committed in Edmonds and Bellingham and the brutal murder in Pasco. ALSO deported four times, five times, nine times? NO... That's GOT TO STOP even if it means execution at some point... it's GOT to stop. American citizens need protection now!

No amnesty! We need to seriously enforce the boarder, If an illegal is found to be here he should be deported the 1st time. If he is found here again he should receive ten years hard labor. Employers should be held accountable as well, via large fines, loss of business licence, and criminally. For any of this to happen we need to vote out these sell out politicians that are pandering for the illegal vote and looking the other way when businesses hire the illegals.

We do not need another amnesty aka immigration reform, We were promised last amnesty in 1986 would never happen again. That amnesty is what has cause this illegal alien problem today. The illegals were given citizenship & then proceeded to set up housing & jobs for their family & friends in Mexico who then came illegally & then they did the same for the next wave of illegals & it continued with the next wave.

The 1986 amnesty was believed by everyone to be a 'fix' & we believed that the promises given would be kept. Went to the hardware store the other day,
the item I bought was labeled in English on one side, Spanish on the other and was made in Communist China. Most of Washington is okay with this.
McCain has now waken up, but not because he is challenged from the right but because the Hispanic voters stuck a knife in his back during the election.
