No this wasn't it dude. That happened back in the original ECW, years ago, RVD and Sabu did the same thing. Except RVD and Sabu were on turnbuckles across from each other. And they did that double leg drop on Bam Bam Bigelow. And a side of the table broke upwards towards his face and eye. That is when RVD said that he almost lost his eyelid and lost I think 30% of his vision.

One of the few glimpses of the old ECW. Back in the Philly bingo hall the fans would have yawned. The old ECW was extremely creative, innovative and you saw stuff never done before. Today's ECW is kinda of a re-hash. Still, better than the 'normal' WWE robots.

Of course I watched it, and yes, he did lose all the time, the point I was making was that his losses in the WWE's "ECW" were borderline embarrassing, they took advantage of him and turned him into what was essentially a jobber, and while he may have lost those matches in the original ECW, he still gave the other person a hell of a beating

In my eyes, he doesn't have the pure wrestling skill or charisma to have earned the support he gets. YES, he puts his body on the line, but so did so many others......and yes they treated him like shit, but getting beaten by Jack Swagger is something a 40 year old wrestler should be doing. Most of his appeal to fans in the original company was that he was always an underdog and most of the time ended up losing, but he always got back up and was ready for another beating. He lived and breathed ECW, and it's strange to think that the man who epitomised everything the company was about was the Heavyweight Champion only once, and for less than 30 minutes... I'm just glad WWE did the right thing by giving him the championship again before ECW was phased out
