Also, a good raid leader doesn't kick some one who has 40 shards and only needs 10 more to get shadowmourne, so that the leader gets his first.... If a tank dies, it can be either Dps, Healer or the tanks fault

Tank: Missing heal (healing fault) Enrage Timer (Dps fault) running away from healer, not taunting, failing on tacts etc etc-- (tank fault)

Healer: Failing, getting aggro, Enrage timer and so on again.

Dps: same as the other

All 3 roles need eachother, so that's why you got more than just 1 class, 1 role and 1 specc.

This is a little off topic I think.. I raid as a Druid tank. I've done alot of research on my class, spec, the works. But I've looked and looked and can't seem to find anything on viability in Druid tanks over all other tanking classes. As a Raid leader and or a guild leader/recruiter, do you/would you use Druid tanks in TotGC and up coming (Icecrown +) instance's?

Handling loot differs from guild to guild. Some guilds use Loot Council, other use DKP, and then there's guilds that use just a /random 100 rolling system to designate loot. There isn't a "correct" way to do it. It's whatever works for your guild.

Modified loot council hit yes on the ready check for a 25 vote system if you agree. Loot solved. People dont show up to your times based on how long you need them kick them. Raid leaders need to be well versed in almost races spell pool. Know them toi make others better. Im done.

Not a leader myself, but as a raider I like to still have the ability/means to rise to the situation and not -just- be the raid tank/dps/heals, but someone who can assist or support the actual leader when useful. Thanks for the tips. Im sure they will come in handy i lead a pug for 10 and 25 man toc weekly so i have gotten pretty good at leading and figuring out what went wrong.

P.s. Im on the US server Doomhammer if anyone wants to join my pugs i do them friday and saturday. Just send my shaman (Horde) an in game message. Whisper or mail or just watch for me looking for more.

I agree about the "Scrubs" of the raid. I was a Kara pro, but got my ass handed to me when I joined a T6 raiding guild in BC. Raided a few months, was talked to, retained the knowledge they shared with me, and I became a very good raider because someone spent a little bit of time helping me out!

I agree with you lore, I unfortunately had to do a bit of guild hopping recently due to quitting for a few months and what not, anyway one guild I was in I felt had poor raid leader decisions, I was in Naxx/uld 10 and a few toc 10 peices, and they expected way too much from me :/ had never experienced most encounters and ended up getting kicked for doing all I could, anyway Another good quality I would add is not recruting just anybody for the bench, and if you are knowing you have to gear them
