If you take away the screaming any post-hardcore band loses the impact, it's the while fuckin point of post hardcore, to have the melodies that make your skin tingle set off against the guttural sound of gruff vocals to snap you back into it. Anyone who thinks AoF should drop George is a fag and should seriously grow a pair. Dallas is amazin also but it is the sheet uniqueness and chemistry of elements that make this band truly epic! So suck my balls if you don't like it :)

u really don't pay much attention to what makes the genre. like yes, without the screamer, they lack a lot of hardcore sound, but if you listen to songs off their self-titled, actually any of their songs, there's some heavy riffs and interesting musical theory..

Yeah, one of the things that makes Alexisonfire truly unique is that they utilize three different singers (Dallas, George and Wade) with three very different vocal styles. Their music is amazing and I hope that their style doesn't change too drastically.
