  • I was taught Accordion with Lola Blair. Sometime Jimmy would teach me.. I remember having to drag that 120 bass Accordion all the way fro Buchanan Bus station then up the 3 flights of stairs at Douglas Street... I have never lifted an Accordion in about 30 years... Wonder if I can still play.. not that I was that good anyway.

  • My brother and I went for lessons in Glasgow every Monday night with Jimmy and his wife then to Gary Blair. Will never forgot lugging the box up three flights of stairs. Still have the same box my Dad bought me 25 years ago which I have taken with me all over the world in the RAF including 4 months in the Falklands. I'm a bit rusty now but still enjoy playing. Thanks to the Blairs and my Dad. Regards Iain Bulloch
