Hey, Marlowe! Could you help me? I've recently bought a bass, a Fender replica from Vintage. But when I fret frets nr 1 until 3 the whole string vibrates, because it lays upon the fret (the small iron bar) next to it. This causes an awkward 'buzzzzz' and kills your sound while playing. Do you know if this is because of the newness of the strings or is it my bass? It happens too on the 7+'th fret on the G-string. Will it go away after a while?
@TheBlueBandYTAccount Allen Wrench and Screwdriver... you can do it for free and also with the screwdriver you can make sure your bass is in tune with itself...intonation
@TheBlueBandYTAccount Buzzing down the nut end of the neck means you need more relief in the neck. The truss rod needs to be loosened a touch. I highly recommend you take it to get set up by a good tech - well worth it.

@MarloweDK If you add some guitar line and/or some other instrument, you would have a complete song, since drums and bass are pretty cool. It's up to you. :)
Wow! That is one cold ass lick! It took me about 45 mins, but I finally got it. The open A hammering down to the G and A on the E string rocked my world. I have never done that before, but I love it! Thanks so much Marlowe!
amazing. question though. do get that real clean jazzy sound you have in this video, is that just the natural sound of the bass or is there an effect, or amp settings?
BTW, is this the bass' clean sound recorded directly into the computer or other interface with no further programmatic modification, or there are some effects? Sorry if this has been asked before, as I'm sure it was, if someone knows please tell.
Awesome groove, Marlowe. I was wondering...do you have any suggestions for improving right hand control? I've been playing for a couple of years and only recently started getting into slap.
I love playing this kind of anything fun stuff too, but I was wondering, where do you get your drum tracks to play over, or if you make them what do you use? I'd love to be able to jam over top of some drum tracks, any advice would be great.
Marlowe, do you ever record an album or put anything out on iTunes?
