I live in Alaska in Anchorage. I hate it here the weather sucks.. the people suck... but up north is great. If you ever plan on going to Alaska, I suggest going to at least Fairbanks and go alittle bit north. It's fun. only if you came to hunt of Fish lol

I was lucky enough to get to Dutch Harbor with clear skies in January of all times. Heard the horror stories of course, so was happy I only had to spend the normal layover laying down on those uncomfortable chairs in Anchorage Airport (which has nice things to look at while you wait btw).

Just flying into Anchorage in January is breathtaking. The Ocean is frozen for like a mile out from the shore.

Got to see an erupting Mount Augustine on the flight to Dutch. Only cloud in the sky.
