Even if man is only marginally contributing to this problem, changes are in order. We need to work together towards reversing or at least slowing this problem if possible. I dont know how old you are but in the early 70's we were bombarded by the crazies about "global cooling", and we would all freeze to death. Now, its global warming, just another way to tax you and me to make a buck. All the sun has to do is hiccup slightly. and we could all fry!...and we have had many many warm periods before man was even around...
I guess you didn't notice the part where I said the varience in these solar cycles have a far less than 1 percent varience in output from the top of a cycle to the bottom. And scientists said that global cooling may be happening, they didn't have even close to the same consensus as they do today and being scientists they decided to look into it more and they realized that they were wrong. The whole thing is quite well understood today.
That's what scienists do; they change their minds when real evidence to the contrary has been presented. No such evidence has been presented to even make them consider that these solar cycle nuts are right. There is a consensus for a very good reason: they understand the effects.
Russian and NASA scientists discovered sunspots that were the cause of global warming. It's not manmade. Man made the hole in the ozone layer which doens't have the same effect as sunspots.

Well national geographic has a story on Mars warming, too. I've also heard that pluto is warming. So it could just be the increased solar output which is accounting for most of the warming. We can't compete with the sun & there aren't any humans on mars yet to ruin its atmosphere.

Actually the data is from NASA mars surveyor missions in 2005 & the article says how the ice caps have been diminishing for 3 years in a row. The article is from 2007. Theory is backed up by a Russian scientist named Abdussamatov although he is not well received by some climate scientists.

There's also scientists who have taken samples of ice from 200 metres underground that go back thousands of years who say that the earth has been a lot hotter than this before, even around the Roman period.
When you look at the facts more closely the logic rests firmly with the man made theory.The solar cycles have been on a down swing since 01 but we have still been getting warmer.Plus the cycles varience is only .1 percent from the the top of a cycle compared to it's bottom so it is not very signifacant compared to the thirty percent increase in carbon that creates the greenhouse.
And it seems that there may have been a warm period in the medievil period about 1300 years after Romes height but scientists think it may have been more of a European warm period rather than a global warm period and some even think it was caused by burning brush releasing methane.The fact is there is little solid evidence of anything looking in the past for the reasons already stated plus the fact that there are no reliable solar cycle charts going back more than thirty years.
And those ice core samples you are talking about actually show steady carbon levels going back half a million years.They estimate tempratures were higher before that because carbon levels were much higher at other times so as you can see they recognize the insulating factor carbon has.

The IPCC First Assessment Report came out in 1990, two years before I was born. Global warming has been an issue even before my lifetime. The evidence is clear; since the Industrial Revolution, the amount of Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has skyrocketed. Frozen methane lakes in the Arctics are thawing and releasing the deadly gas at dangerous levels.
I live in PA. Every winter I've had here has been moderate, not alot of snow, wind cold enough to burn your face in minutes, and heating bills that aren't that depressing (thermostat at 50F).
Every summer I whine and whine about global warming. Where is it? How come we only get 2 months of moderate heat and then we freeze our asses off from Sept - June? Well national geographic has a story on Mars warming, too. I've also heard that pluto is warming. So it could just be the increased solar output which is accounting for most of the warming. We can't compete with the sun & there aren't any humans on mars yet to ruin its atmosphere.

I saw something about a picture of the Martian ice caps getting smaller in 97 but there are no Martian temp records let alone Plutonian records so that is not evidence.Solar cycles vary by about .1 percent per cycle and records of them only go back 30 years and you are disregarding the BIG PILE OF SCIENCE AND LOGIC that back the FACT which is greenhouse gases are causing global warming.

Actually the data is from NASA mars surveyor missions in 2005 & the article says how the ice caps have been diminishing for 3 years in a row. The article is from 2007. Theory is backed up by a Russian scientist named Abdussamatov although he is not well received by some climate scientists.
There is a difference between denying warming exists & being coerced into supporting the idea that it's a massive threat, worse than Al Qaeda, Iran, Kim Jong Il & megatron all put together.

The tilting theory is not from NASA, you actually have no idea what thier position on the issue is. It's also just a theory. The scientist I mentioned is the head of the russian space research so I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about more than climate scientists at the US.

Therer are even scientists from the institutes that you mention who disagree but are told if they publicly speak out they must do it independantly & they will be fired & refused any employment or grants in the future. A geologist came to speak at my girlfriend's graduation who also agrees that the conclusions aren't that sound. The only consensus is that it's warmer. Sun getting hotter = earth & mars getting hotter, I can't think of anything more logical than that. The case isn't as one sided as you would like to think. There's also scientists who have taken samples of ice from 200 metres underground that go back thousands of years who say that the earth has been a lot hotter than this before, even around the Roman period.

When you look at the facts more closely the logic rests firmly with the man made theory.The solar cycles have been on a down swing since 01 but we have still been getting warmer.Plus the cycles varience is only .1 percent from the the top of a cycle compared to it's bottom so it is not very signifacant compared to the thirty percent increase in carbon that creates the greenhouse.

And those ice core samples you are talking about actually show steady carbon levels going back half a million years.They estimate tempratures were higher before that because carbon levels were much higher at other times so as you can see they recognize the insulating factor carbon has.

Solar cycles are a fact, whether or not they show up in ice core samples. The sun has more to do with temperatures and weather patterns than man ever could. This winter has been one of the coldest on record or in recent years so where is the global warming? "Climate change" is major geopolitical power grab scheme. That's not what I'm using to prove it. I never even said that was my reason for believing or even proving climate change. The IPCC First Assessment Report came out in 1990, two years before I was born. Global warming has been an issue even before my lifetime. The evidence is clear; since the Industrial Revolution, the amount of Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has skyrocketed. Frozen methane lakes in the Arctics are thawing and releasing the deadly gas at dangerous levels.

I live in PA. Every winter I've had here has been moderate, not alot of snow, wind cold enough to burn your face in minutes, and heating bills that aren't that depressing (thermostat at 50F).
Every summer I whine and whine about global warming. Where is it? How come we only get 2 months of moderate heat and then we freeze our asses off from Sept - June? If global warming is real, send it over this way so we can go swimming or something once in awhile. Global warming is inadequate and FIRED.
