at the time it came out, a lot of people knew sonic for what he was in the video games and the archie comics/SatAM. So many of the viewers couldn't really understand the concept of this series. It basically got canned cuz of it didn't reel in a lot of viewers. But of course as we all grew older we looked back on this little forgotten Gem and started seeing it in a new light.

Isn't it something? They never say if he's on the run too, if he died, or if he's been roboticized. Looking back, I think he was dead or he ran away (the intro doesn't even have him sitting on the bed with Aleena and the kids). How hard would it have been to say what happened? Maybe they were planning that for a different season but never got to it..or maybe they could jut never fit him in (and I ask why on that note).
