@joro1919 cuz in the new records since Sufferer and the Witness he uses pharyngeal voice, some people call it the "WHINY" voice but it isnt really whiny, its the mix of the head and chest voice, he uses it to hit high notes on their newest records while on the old ones he uses pure chest voice with vocal belting (the raspy semi-scream sound) to hit high notes, which is also how he sings live, thats why he sounds the same with his old songs

His notes are powerful and on key, except maybe from when he's tired, which is normal. Also know that in punk rock, technique is not the point.the point is to scream the lyrics as if you sing for the last time. and thats what we love. even the best singer wouldnt give so much emotion like Tim.
