Because I know for me personally zapping back to the 1890's and finding myself in rural Alberta and then trying to make it to Germany to find evil baby Hitler would be problematic. I would like to point out that Vlad the Impaler was in fact, not evil. He was quite macabre but he used this macabrenes to scare off many enemies of his country, by impaling his enemies on very long stakes and surrounding the castle in them (3,000 of them; some living, some dead).
