Install time if only about 30-45 minutes in most applications. I have one in my 94 325i cabrio.

i have the same car...same performance....i just put a brand new clutch and changed the 3.45 LSD to 3.15 LSD.....custom exhaust...i wanna see if i can reach 260km/h >:)

On what wheels? series-max speed of 213km / h for the M42. Speed of 225km / h is not available for 318is or distort the speedometer.

Of course it is!!!!!! I have also 1.8 140hp so 318is from 1992y. My top speed alredy is 225km/h :D

It`s probably chipped.
Stock Rev. limitter goes to 6500RPM,
the engine makes over 6600 about 6700 RPM so it should be chipped.
I guess.. :P
