Be your own expert" is a mantra that's taught in Tony's seminar environment. At first, I mostly just followed the word of Tony and his coaches, and gradually became my own expert. You are correct that we have all the answers. Everybody gets coaching one way or another, and the best coaches are ones that ask good questions. Also, the key ingredient in figuring all this out is wanting it badly enough. If you genuinely want it badly enough, you'll find a way.

My wife and I just recently experienced a Robbins seminar, and we are now eating less meat, sugar, and alcohol, and exercise most days. The link for free tickets seems legitimate. We just signed up.
