  • doesnt look so bad from the video, but if someone asks if ur ok in the landing area.. u probably aren't

  • yeah, the angle of my final approach after trying to flare sort of negated a plf as it set me back a bit. Dr. also said that had I twisted to attempt to land softer, the fracture could have been worse...did LOTS of plfs in airborne school. My best option would have been to just cutaway when I realized it was a broken A line. Had landed a mal like that before, but on a much windier day, so it wasn't as bad....live & learn...

    Haven't jumped since I broke my back on this landing...almost 2 years now...broke an A line on opening so got no flare...

    Now I'm playing with the kids and kitesurfing...will probably jump again in 2-3 more years when the kids are in school...get in touch!!!

    He had messed up lines.

    So his flaring wasn't at 100%
