  • OMG!! IT WORKS...I dont think it works for game CDs. I put AIM "GEL" Toothpaste on 2008 football highlight DVD and I put a big cirlce around it and smeered it in from the black cirlce to the outter layer of the DVD. I let it sit for 13min (i lost track of time but it was still good). I washed it off in "COLD" water. I pat it down with a "TOWEL" , both front and back. Then I let it sit until I went to the library to play it and I played it from start to finish and it didnt skip or freeze.

  • that stupid crap didnt work

  • Yep totally screwed my mw3 @2horneys

  • Toothpaste is slightly abrasive. Next time try Spam.

  • Thumbs up if you bout a used game and Didn't work.

And i take care of my games.

  • ok it didnt work 4 the cd but in dose a great job on teeh :D

  • tooth paste work on my dick too fix my scraths there >_> good video

  • your supposed to apply the toothpaste from the inner part of the disk to the outer part

  • Thanks bro :)

  • your dumb as shit u fuck there are always still going to be scratches it just helps read the disc u fuck off

  • just did toothpaste 5 minutes ago and it worked for me

  • this actual works I did it for my mw3 thank you pckilla187

  • u spelled damn like dame u dumbass.

  • you did it wrong your suppos to rub your dick on it too

  • Will this work on iPhones.

  • Tooth PASTE not tooth Gel ! The same kind of white stuff your folks grew up with. It needs MORE "silica" (the sand that is the abrasive). And YES it needs to be POLISHED. The paste won't do it all by itself. Next time take care of your stuff in the first place !!!

  • STUPID MUSIC!

  • @thedannytoshoes yes thank you toothpaste does not work

  • HEY DIP SHIT!!!! YOUR SUPPOSED TO RUB IT IN REALLY GOOD. ITS JUST LIKE BUFFING COMPOUND SO IT BUFFS OUT THE SCRATCHES. YES IT WILL WORK TO AN EXTENT.

  • you are a asshole

  • Does it actually work?

    ..

    ^

  • @nextraincloud1989 not really some guy spread a rumor about it if u do want to fix it just go to a local game store and ask them to fix it they put it in a machine and it takes off all of the scratches

  • 240p we meet again.

  • does any one know if its useful on iphone screens??? or is there any damage done to it??

  • Comment removed

  • You're doing this all wrong. First off, You applied toothpaste with crystals (Or the video is terrible quality), Second you need way more toothpaste, thirdly you need not to wait 5 minutes, Fourthly you never should touch the cd, And you should never take the toothpaste off in a circular motion, always do streaks from the center out.

  • your saposed to use toylit papaer

  • Wot human thinks will toothpaste clean a cd!?!

  • @DanXelite Im assuming that first word is What?

  • if you dont go staright around the disc with the toothpaste it messes up the game code

  • my ps2 tapes still exist scratch

  • do u have to wait 5 mins ????

  • damn this song -.-"

  • @theonlyspartan it makes me sick that people think its ok to take the mick out of people with disablities , there the same as us , just less fortunate.

  • The only way for toothpaste to work is by using white/gritty toothpaste and by leaving it for a whole day

  • You did it wrong, you have to get WHITE toothpaste Pure white, and not blue. Then you need some cloth to rub it out you mowfakkaaa

  • your soooooooooo stupid because you have to wait ten min with the tooth past than wash itand it will work i did it

  • @TheTim33249 Really?all scratches got clean and the game works?Coz i tried it i put toothpaste all around and waited but only 2minutes then i wash it,then last i use a soft cloths. Then it still all their(scracthes) So gamee still wont read.,So i have to wait 10min?

  • TUTORIAL FAIL - What an idiot. Toothpaste is a mild abrasive - you have to *polish* the disc with it to have any effect. Leaving it sat there is going to do sod all. Incidentally, you'd be far better using a decent quality mildly abrasive polish like car polish for this.

  • @SLRist Yes "T Cut" is the stuff (car paint restorer), but if you do not have any, tooth paste is OK, its all in the polishing put some energy into it and you will have a result.

  • it didn't work for me

  • I see a lot of scaches

  • Thank You Mute Button

  • look you need to use white toothpaste

then but in on the cd make the cd all white

    ten wait 10 minutes

then clean the cd with water

The Use It And Then you are done

  • eww boner 0:19

  • shit phone

  • didn't work for me either

  • R.I.P. Headphone Users

  • bullshit

  • Thanks man now my gta 4 disc 2 is working .Its aaaawwwwweeeeeessssssssoooooooommmmmeeeeeee

  • R.I.P

     AznPCGamer

  • R.I.P Headphone users

  • People are basically smart--anything over 10% dislikes is not to be trusted as a helpful video.

  • You're not supposed to rub it in circles, dummy.

  • z0mg YOUR DOING IT WRANG

  • Ok, maybe the toothpate didn't work on your CD...

but ACME CD Scratch Removal Gel did an amazing job on my teeth !!!

  • @shakeandvac lol

  • @pckilla187 you did it right but try to put more tooth paste on half of the disk

  • @shakeandvac lol

  • cheesy video but it helped

  • Your Supposed to wash off from center to edge or it will get damaged

  • CAR WAX!! ;) and some elbow grease!

  • or you could go to asda and pay 1:50 to remove the surface scratches

  • it wored for me but i had to use a car buffer and a lot of toothpaste. an xbox 360 scratched a ring in the bottom a cd (as xbox's are famous for doing). we buffed out the scratches and the game works wonderfully now. i couldnt believe it i really couldnt lol.

  • you just wipe the toothpaste off

with the running water , the toothpaste that fills the scratch will be removed

its not guaranteed to work but it can help (or sometimes make it worse)

  • thats some bullshit..... hehehehehehhehehe

  • FUCK YOU AND YOUR FUCKING TOOTHPASTE

  • It only works if you use a oral B brush on the toothpaste! :P

  • MUTE

  • The game is new -_- those scratches are nothing compared to the ones I have

  • @superblooper437 same and the scratche wer stil there

  • I've never heard such a horrible song before in my life

  • @Awesomeelite555 Then clearly you've never listened to Nickelback

  • hi mute i havent seen you in a long time!!! lol

  • Well i have the old PS2 version of Half-Life, I brought it into GameStop and they used their paste and whatever they do and it still doesn't work. I might try this but if anyone knows a good way to fix it could you please tell me? Thanks.

  • 1) Does it have to be EXTRA TOOTH WHITENER

    2) Will the song fill the drain

    3) hahahahahahaha

  • TACTICAL MUTE INCOMING!

  • im trying it on halo wars, hope it works. If it doesnt im going to explode

  • MUTE!

  • i do this all the time, it works like crazy if you have the 3 color colgate, just make sure it isnt gritty

  • but wold the game work my call of duty world at war keeps saying disc is unreadable blah blah blah

  • not that fucking song again ¬¬

  • #1RULE: do not dry or rub in circles! it ruins the lazer stuff and destroys the cd, and scratces it even worse!

  • listen up R tards all u have 2 do is rent the game u messed up trade the messed up 1 with teh rent and :D so screw toothpaste.

  • @theonlyspartan34 lol i did that but they called me and charged me lol i guess they got numbers on them now here lol

  • @theonlyspartan34 thats actually a good idea

  • @theonlyspartan34

NOPE! ITZ CALLED NEVER BUYING THE GAME RENTING IT FOR LIKE 7$ AND MAKING A ILLEGAL COPY AND ENJOY IT :D

  • @theonlyspartan34 And then you replace the messed up game you traded.

  • @theonlyspartan34 Does that work

  • @theonlyspartan34 :O good plan ily no homo

  • @theonlyspartan34 You are the 'R tard' you can't spell a fucking thing.

  • @Northantrims so

  • @theonlyspartan34 Grammar and spelling is everything. In my opinion, only retards can't spell.

I can't even understand what you are trying to say.

  • @theonlyspartan34 No wonder every game i rented from gamefly r broken nd has some scracthes on it and wont read on my console,i thougth it was the delivering fault but i think from other ppl game

  • @theonlyspartan34 It's retards, not R tards.

  • u r spposed 2 take a towel or cloth, put toothpaste on cloth and rub on disc with a circle to edge motio (the middle to the outside of disc) never rub around cz the dtaon disc gets messed up

  • i dont own toothpaste so i cant do this with my laser burn, Aw Darnit!

  • Thumbs up if you turned it off like 30 seconds before the end :L

  • U have to use paste, not gel. Then u have to take vasiline, and rub that on too.

  • POXY SOUNDS WITH THIS WTF

  • You used gel toothpaste, which they clearly say not to do.

  • @vanessarox9815 it is a thing you can use for putting onto the pump nossles to pump up soccer, basketballs and footballs and it can be used for more things just google it

  • wow i never knew you can fix a disk with tooth paste . i hope this will fix my black ops and Halo disk

  • I had a game CD that was scratched up and wouldn't read. I used toothpaste as a polishing agent and the managed to re-install so you can recover CDs with this method.

However I don't see what just covering in paste will achieve - you still have to polish the surface to get the scratches out. I applied some paste to the surface and used circular motions with a cloth to buff, then rinsed in clean water and dried.

The disk wouldn't read so I thought WTH.

  • Yes you did do it wrong you gotta do this:

    1. spread toothpaste over the whole cd

    2. wait 10minutes then WIPE off with a smoothe cloth

    3 spread vasoline over

4 wait 10minutes then WIPE with cotton wool bud then get a new one and WIPE off

    5. TADAH your done

  • THATS NOT ALL YOU DO WHAT YOU did IS RETARDED

  • tooth past dosnt work i tryed but not my shit i used old cds

  • I have been using toothpaste and hot water for years repairing and reconditioning scratched CD's. 1. make sure the sink water is very very hot, wet the CD for a second or two, apply a generous amount of toothpaste and with the the tip your fingers lightly start buffing away like a micro wax in every direction gently doing swirls, back and forth, multiple angles etc for a minute or 2, then removing tooth paste with hot water, optional letting CD sit for a minute in water submerged, then dry cloth

  • IT'S NOT LIKE THAT....

    *FACEFUCKIGNPALM

  • 1 out of 10 times i did the toothpaste only 3 discs of them were fixed and because it was barley working

  • o_o

  • its dosent work so fuck you

  • do the same steps but dont wait 5 minutes

  • i used my cum and it didnt work...i test it, and it ran and than the xbox started getting louder and i heard it revving and shit and when i pulled the disc out i saw little small disc like the gamecube disc's :O

  • @acolyteelite ಠ_ಠ .............

  • This is like laying a piece of sandpaper on rough wood, coming back tomorrow or putting it in a freezer and being surprised that it doesn't work.

It's not a magic cure, ya gotta rub it in- polish it.

  • what can i say tou ThankS !!!

  • It might have worked if you;d done it right. Toothpaste is a very fine abrasive- like a polish for teeth. Use a smaller amount with a little water, and use a soft cloth to polish the surface - you keep going until the scratches are reduced; there is no magic "rub ten times for success" formula, and nothing happens without polishing at all.

Ultimately, you'd have better success with a ready-made scratch-removal cream (for phone/PDA screens), as toothpaste is not ideal (just home DIY accessible).

  • It didnt work! :(

  • toothpaste is ebrasive

  • toothpaste is ebrasive dumbass

  • toothpaste is ebrasive dumbass

  • i can see there is still marks on the disc so i say that done not work what a wast of time

  • @sammy99213 : Amazing - you can (almost) type in English, yet cannot read a video description... :P

  • all rise for the youtube national anthem.

  • I don't think it's supposed o erase them just make the disc work and you did do it wrong you have to do it 15 or so times

  • You're doing it wrong!

  • andhellfollowedx i do but the stupid xbox 360 cases mess up the discs

  • My question; WHY Would you let your games and or Cd's get so shitty in the first place? Learn to take care of your shit, yo. and then you wouldn't have this problem. Lol. No offense. But legit.

  • @andhellfollowedx well i have this problem and its partly my fault for moving my 360 but i just got the 360 recently so i didn't know it would happen. i didn't even know about the 360's tendency to scratch the disc until i searched for help on google because i never had this problem with my older consoles (i used to own a ps2). now i wish i never shifted my 360 but when i did it i was just moving it so the vents had more space to fan out the heat ;_;l

  • @andhellfollowedx They can crack from overplaying.

  • I think I can count five minutes, you don't need to show us

  • i have GTA IV on xbox 360 and im tring what 420 reppin says i dont know if it will work or not.

  • why would u put this up if you knew it wouldnt work

  • noooo you put toothpaste on it, put it in the freezer til the toothpaste is frozen, sit it in just a room til the toothpaste is soft again, and wipe it off with something silky, i did this with my GTA: VI cd and it works a charm now
