  • I Have the same EXACT car. v6 07 mustang pony edition with flowmasters. but mine sounds like a fart can when it gets to high RPMs. is there any way to fix this?

  • @Gerbilinator I have flowmaster too and I think its just how flow master is designed and plus with a v6 it seems like its harder to get more of a growl than if u had a v8

  • This sounds good Im gonna get the same one for my mustang

  • is that the 60 series?

  • sounds nice did you take off the resonator?

  • @jrocker040705 No I didn't

  • sounds just like mine, i run a dual flowmaster 40 X pipe with chrome 4 inch tips on my 07 v6 Mustang.. im getting a K&N cold air intake system pretty soon along with a predator chip. Once i tune my engine and throttle body I can run 0-60 probably under 6 seconds to the high 5 second range.

  • did you have to cut your bumper to get this to fit correctly? Great video!

  • to the guy that said it still sounds like a v6 well of course it does its just a single muffler what could it do? but it sounds amazing its what i have on my 2006 i get many compliments but i am in seek of a dual set up now... any ideas?

  • sounds good. and can't beat the price.

  • personaly me i think that sounds good but i just think flowmaster super 40s sound better

  • Still sounds like a v6....

  • Magneflow or flowmaster

  • I have a 2006 mustang v6 I'm thinking about to just a flowmaster exhaust tip on it that can be welded or bolted is it gonna make the same sound.

  • i have the same car, 07 pony package V6... is that a single pipe or do you have dual?

  • @alexvrce i have the same one, pony package and all, and mines only single... i wanna put a flowmaster muffler on it

  • great sound man!!! would you happen to know if this would fit on my 07 v6 monte carlo? or is there a similar set up for that price? thanks!

  • While I'm not sure if the Flowmaster AT will fit on the 07Monte Carlo, the exhaust is just a simple axle-back system and there are a wide range of available options for you. I'm sure you can find something for the price.

  • @jtbndy

awesome sound i have a 2005 v6 mustang i completly transformed it n u have any suggestions on what would be a good DUAL exhaust for this there are many kinds of exhaust but what kind would give me the beasting sound???

  • 40 series?

  • thats awesome, beutiful sound man

  • that sounds beutiful.. any mods done to it or is it stock aside from the flowmaster 40 muffler?

  • Nope, simply added the flowmaster.

  • what all u put on and how much it cost?

  • Just the flowmaster was put on. It cost roughly $150-200 installed. I forget how much exactly.

  • great sound and vid man, this axle back is a cheap and good mod for a v6 stang, jw how easy was the instal, isnt it just a direct bolt on?

  • yeah just direct bolt on.

  • i think im going to get the American Thunder for my car as well. How does it sound inside?

    Sounds really good man

  • single muffler?

  • how much was the exhaust?

  • Roughly 130 installed I think.

  • Nope, I haven't done anything except this muffler.

  • I just bought an 07 v6 stang, how much for the exhaust system? what else can I do to make it faster?

  • This was an axle back exhaust, installed it cost roughly $150.

Other things you can do to make your car faster that doesn't require extensive work is get a premium air filter, download and install a tune, or add a cold air intake.

  • Yea I was gonna put a k&n high flow and platinum plugs.

  • to make it sond this good did u update anything else or just put on a new muffler

  • Does it sound ok on highway?

  • Yeah, sounds fine. Drone isn't too bad.

  • I personally hate how flowmasters sound on these, I switched from a flow to a JBA. It'll do for now.

  • i love how your camera lens is swinging in the reflection cause of the exhaust lol. nice sound im def thinking about this one

  • damn fine, mate

been thinkin about gettin the AT series on my 'stang for a while, but now i definitely will

  • i was thinking about getting duals on mine but the back pressure isnt high enough so you get too much popping so if its sound youre looking for id stick to the single

  • Actually, you'd probably make it not as noticeable with a dual setup. Check out mustangcollective . com and see. Backpressure is not a problem when converting to duals.

  • I have that same exhaust... I love the sound. Maybe when the warranty is up, I'll switch to duals with them.

  • Yeah, I didn't want to deal with the body work associated with the duals right now. I might switch to duals a little bit later too. :)

  • Ditto, cutting the bumper wasn't an option for me. Too scary. :) Another 20,000 miles and some dings later.. I'll think about it, haha. But this exhaust is probably one of meatiest sounding axlebacks on the market and I like it.

  • it is really kool exhaust .i will get for for my stang.

  • Just to make sure, this Flowmaster is for a single exhaust for a V6? I looked up the price online and it runs for close to $200 give or take. When you said you got it for $150, that covered both the AT Muffler AND installation?

  • you can find it on ebay for a lower price, and about the installation anyone can do it with simple tools in about 40 min,

  • Check out my custom made exhaust!! Ps nice vid man
