Alvin hasn't made any public announcement on discontinuing SMBZ that I've heard of. But it has been a while since he's released a preview even. @iampermastoned Yoshi wasn't letting himself get beat up. At first he just wanted to escape, so he went into an egg to sheild himself from the bullets and run. That didn't work, so he tried to fight back. It worked for a little bit, but Mecha was too strong. Yoshi was under constant fire, and each time he was attacked, he was pummeled again before he could recover. That's why he wasn't doing much. Every single time Yoshi got an attack in, he was given time to recover. like at 1:32 and 2:09
