I saw this film in the theater, in 1982, when I was 18. It made quite an impression on me, being that it addresses the theme of identity. You picked a great scene, but cut it too short to capture one of the most salient quotes of the film, that has come to my mind many, many times in my life. After Rachel leaves the room, Deckard says to Tyrell "She doesn't know, does she? How can it not know what it is?" That last line still takes my breath away, as it applies to those without an inner life.
Why would she smoke if she's a replicant.
