Strange that was a problem on older cars that had carbon build up but not sure why it would do it on a car with computers. The computers may be the problem or the switch itself.
Hey Striker, the problem turned out to be a relay behind the ignition, the dealer changed the ignition switch and the relay and since then it seems to have been fine.... touch wood!!!
Cool, the police pay alot of money to have a 'run-lock system' fitted and your car does it for free! XD =P
