i have a 4x32ir scope on it its a tokyo mauri aug gots a silencer and the grip can be changed into a tactical vertical grip or bipod /tripods you can also custemize it with a laser since its got a smaller barell at its sidecut off as it comes with

the slider to dissassemble this gun is usually good in place, and doesnt need to be removed.

usually theres a little metal plate underneath it that holds the whole button in place so u cant loose it in skirms. i wonder its not on this gun u tested? anyways, nice review. and gun is unbeatable in its price.

Might want to consider cocking the weapon BEFORE attempting to remove or replace the barrel, not while pressing down on the locking lug or trying to ram the thing back in. Trust me, it's not hard or time-consuming if you do things in the right order.

hello aug fan...one o the benefits over the aug's design over more conventional setups is the fact that the bolt and barrel go all the way back into the but (that's why the magazine is behind the trigger...). This gives you a full-length AR barrell, but more compact.....does this benefit transfer over to airsoft guns???? like in an airsoft gun, does a longer barrel matter as much as on a real gun?

um not really as when you strip the styer it strips into 4 main parts, the barrel group, reciever group, bolt group and stock group. they took off the barrel different to what you actually do with the real rifle.

Some more things to add.

The "Iron sights" are very cheap plastic and broke within ten mins, buy yourself a scope, problem solved.

Foregrip isn't as weak as mentioned it just feels so due to its designed structure. every piece of the foregrip is metal apart from the shell of the grip and the bottom cap piece that holds it in place.

Did they mention the barrel length is as long as an m16 even though the gun itself is half the length?

c02 more dependable... electric are known to break easier (from the guns that i have) co2 is just a waste of going to the store and getting them (gas and tax and the c02 itself) and co2 costs more but electric you might be spending more on another gun IF you donr get the right one

its 1100MaH so will think of that as thoeretically 11 mins of full auto before it dies, although your gearbox couldn't take that in one go :S

So it really depends how trigger happy you are.

to take off the barrel easier hold the rifle in your right hand (no matter which hand you write with) and use your left hand to cock it and put it into the hold-open device. Than press the barrel release pin. You don't need to press the pin before you cock it, at least not in the real one.

same thing happened to me, what it is is the either the gears are times off, just a do it yourselfer or get an airsmith to help you out, or your pressure pad for the trigger mechanism is mysteriously missing, thats what happened to me. if this is you, then you pretty much haveto buy a new gear box, ya i know, but thats whats gonna happen unless you can find a pressure pad at some random airsoft graveyard

With my own JG Aug, I was gonna do a spring upgrade but instead went for a 6.03 tight bore barrel the FPS goes up 5-10%, I also replaced the motor with a Marui EG1000, G&P metal hop and Systema hop rubber, these upgrades were not that costly and very easy to do. You might also wanna junk the battery and get a good replacement. I dont feel the need for a new spring now.

Before you remove/re-insert the barrel, you should have the cocking lever fully locked to the rear (in the recess). That way you dont have to fumble with the cocking lever and the barrel locking lug at the same time. That's if you're operating the 'REAL STEEL' though!

You got to think about the scope too. Are you going to stick with the stock scope of the Mil, or at some point a different one?

Well where are you going to use this gun? Also, will you be just shooting around with friends? Some kids will wuss out at 400 fps with .25s so yeah, depends on where and who you are shooting at.

Perfect, I will go with the bar 10 then, if it's that stong !, because It's just me and 5 mates and they have really good guns whitch have like 300-360fps so they woudn't wuss out I should think. We go down this forest near my house (good trees to climb, good for sniping).

PS: we have some really good safety gear anyway, so you can't really feel the BB's unless your hit on the face or on the hands.

We try not to aim in those areas.
