Quran- surah ikhlas, there is nothing like unto him.

The Quran was revealed in Muhammads lifetime and the verse you are using was in the past tense. Allah says we HAVE sent a warner to every nation, notice Allah does not say we WILL. So when muhammad spoke this verse he meant there were messengers sent to every nation as they existed before his time.

Its a fact that muslims belive that there were a total of 124,000 prophets and their messege was meant to be followed for that specific time only, exept muhammad who was sent for all times.
