Near the boil in Alexander springs, there isn't enough oxygen for fish of a size alligators would want. So they don't spend as much time there. Plus there's a lot of activity at the spring's boil and they'll keep away from that unless it's mating season. It's pretty safe. Nice spring, nice vid.

This is my old camera. An Olympus Stylus Verve with it's underwater housing. A much better camera for underwater quality would be a Canon SD1000.

The camera itself at the time was 200 and the case was another 100 on top of that. My new camera cost 300 and it's case 150.

I used to scuba dive this spring, theres a cave about 33 feet down. Also had a alligator swim over me about 15 feet away once.
