Here's food for thought - pretty much ALL parents force their beliefs on their kids from day one. Not too many Christians or Muslims that weren't brought up Christian or Muslim! There's our new baby - lets splash water on him. Its indoctrination and brain washing.

Their approach is entirely insincere. They falsely convey the impression they're willing to engage in an honest discussion that could include the possibility they, rather than you, have something to learn.

@gondolacrescent5 - I just had two come to my door... I engaged in some hearty debate with them. It was fun. They want o give me their beliefs, I'm going to try and force my beliefs on them, and make them see quite how ridiculous some of their beliefs are! Do you know they're strongly against blood transfusions - even in life saving/emergency situations. Crazy shit.

They are only nice when they want you to join their organization if you don't is when they show their true colors....not all but the ones I met. I ask this because so many people accept Jesus' gift of salvation but never take it any further. You were a JW for how long? You can, and should, share with other JWs why you made the change. I used to be a Jehovah's Witness- we did it because we think everyone that isn't a Jehovah's Witness will die in armageddon, when god kills everyone but JW's, so we try to "save" others by getting them to join our cult and pass out magazines with us, to do what I just said in a repeating cycle. Like a pyramid scheme :).

if your catholic, you are christian, all catholics are christians, but not all christians are catholic, Jehovah Witnesses base their beliefs on the Bible, but do prefer their own translation towords it, i dont mind them, but thats me, they do more good then wrong, anyway thats my opinion, but you must admit, they always seem nice :P and sometimes you cant get them away from the door -_-

i understand the whol "knocking on the door thing", but i'm a christian, i was called to go and make diciples and to teach the word of God u know...i don't force the word of God to anyone...but i do let it be known in my speech and demeanor, how i carry my life , u know..i also give my testimony. But i also do respect when someone's just like "i don't wanna hear about this ok", bcuz Jesus came 4 the spiritually sick and not the well. He did not force himself on no one..either u loved Him or not.

LOL You are funny in this video. I will be shocked to meet someone who has never had them knock at their door. It has happened here over the years since I was a child at least. They usually come at the weekends in the morning.

Now if a politician comes at my door (which has happened, my local MP, usually around election times) that's a different story and I rather talk to them. Don't worry it's kinda rare they come here. Phone sales is the worst. I just hang up on them.

What I'm talking about is the act of coming to somebody's home unannounced....that itself is a "forceful" and "aggressive" act because nobody asked for their permission or gave them an invitation to come to the house. It does get annoying because it seems these people don't have any regard to other people and their situation and are only worried about their own objective and purpose for coming unannounced. You can use the word "aggressive" in a life threatening or a non-life threatening situation
