Of Course you scan the audience. Any "real winner" who has done legit Miss America or Miss USA pageants knows the judges are usually out of sight. You can't see into a dark audience. The video says how to win. Not from the advice of novice loser. Take it from a title holder the video is right.! Thanks EXPERT village.

@drpepperlover123 you are sussposed to to scan the crowd then look at the judges for a bit then back to the crowd and so on trust me i know ima pageant girl myself and if u stare at the judges to much they will feel weird and they also wanna see how u do with crowds. and during your intro look at the crowd say your lil thing then turn a bit looking at the judges and go "once again i am contestand number _____, yourname"
