hey guys help me, what do you think about this cymbals? how much is it now? i have a cracked cymbals there in my playlist "How much is this" . help me pls. thanks
VERY VERY cool little cymbals your making. They sound great. You definitely inspired me to try this myself. Have you ever done any larger cymbals or have you only done small bells and effect cymbals so far?
hey, thats really awsome, can you show us a video of the process of how you make them please, i know you wrote it in the description but reading isnt my favourite hobby, i would like to make some of my own, cheers. :)
@Swashbukkles i have no lathe so i just put it on a handdrill, and pushed some hard metal knife against it as it spinned, then the same with polishing paper. not the best idea, but i tried :)
heating and 'quenching' in water actually makes metals harder. if you want to make it softer you 'aneal' it by heating and leaving to cool on its own.
@MADROCKS212 I once made a lerger one but it broke after a few years of playing, and it took quite a long time to make it. In fact it hardly worths the work and time :)
Nice.
