This game shows how our society is going wrong... nowadays people want everything fast and easy...

instead of learning the guitar or drums, repeating for hours to get a song right, people just buy this game, and pretend to be rockstars.

When will we have "climb mount everest simulator" with a USB air-co to freeze your bedroom's wall and make you feel you're escalading? or "politician simulator" where your webcam can detect if you lie well enough to become the president?

The purpose of a videogame is to entertain, people love music which is why this game works.

There isn't a lack of real musicians either, I for one still spend at least half an hour on my drums everyday.

there is just something about this game thats like...if your going to the effort to assemble 4 people and play songs why not actually play real instruments, it is far more satisfying in my opinion. I can understand guitar hero, that is to guitar what dance mats are to dancing, but this i think over steps the line of perhaps, maybe, being a bit sad.
