Nobody apart from parties or clans plays BF3 seriously, but you can always count on everyone, if not almost everyone, to get serious in CoD. I'm not always interested in shenanigans; I usually play for challenge. The ultimate challenge, as I see it, is to go positive over campers/OP weapons(like the Striker).

GI being interpreted as "government issue" was a joke that started back in WWII.

In truth, GI is actually meaning G1 (one in Roman numerals). It is a classification in the Army, referring to regular ground troops. G2 is intelligence classification.

So GI is G, then the Roman numeral I, for one. That is their classifcation in the military.

I remember getting this game right as it came out. For me, it was my first battlefield game, and I was hooked the second I jumped into my first MP match. My first match, I teamed up with an AMAZING pilot in the attack Huey. Together we racked up SOOO many kills. It was lots of fun. After that, I remember dodging rocket launcher shots in my Jeep while blasting Surfin' Bird xD... *sigh* good times..
