Wow, Disney's first Saturday Morning cartoons alongside the Gummi Bears. I remember when I was 8 years old, both shows came out on the same day, but different time slots and networks. GB was on NBC and The Wuzzles was on CBS.
Without these shows, Disney would of been gone by 1985 since they was in such bad shape in the late 70s/early 80s.
You know how they're bringing back all the 80's style clothing, jewelry, etc....what they need to bring back are all the 80's cartoons!! That would be soo flipn awesome!!!
The only show that I can remember that came on the USA cartoon express was Captain Planet and I think later on Pirates of the Dark Water. There are other shows that I knew came on but can't remember them! ARGH!!! :-(
Wish you could watch FULL-LENGTH hi-res quality EPISODES of your favorite 80's cartoons and not just the opening credits? Now you can! Just Google: "Nostalgia Manila" and you'll find the blog. Now playing FULL-LENGTH episodes of: Thundercats, The New Adventures of Batman, Silverhawks, The Smurfs, and Classic Looney Tunes Favorites Merrie Melodies!
I wish omehow I could get all the old cartoons I used to watch as a kid on DVD so when I have kids I can show them. Most of the stuff they have now is horrid, especially the shows for girls! I mean all the girl oriented cartoons of now they chat about dieting and wear revealing clothes. When I have a little girl I would rather them watch something cute and sweet like Wuzzles, or even She-Ra is so much better than the kid's shows they have on these days.
lol im going to cry now, this is my childhood right here. DAMN why when u compare cartoons taday to the 80s/90s cartoons u see the HUGE difference. CARTOONS NOWADAYS SUCK.

I agree with you. Bratz are so wrong. Then you wonder why the girls are the way they are.

Cartoons these days DO suck! Bring back cute, innocents, and fun. No more poorly drawn situation comedies with toilet humor.

This is the intro to Disney´s very first television animation venture, along with the TV-special "Fluppy Dogs"... I haven´t seen this in 20 years...
