Jamawn Woods is now in settlement agreement talks with Chipotle over an issued incompetent management team which led to Soul Daddys disastrous failure. Chipotle has already lost $2.4 million on the Soul Daddy chain.

Didn't you watch the show? The judges made Jamawn change the menu to healthy Soul Food. . .which doesn't really exist. It's a creative take on how to use the ingredients commonly found in soul food but without all of the lard and butter. No one can eat REAL soul food multiple times a week and feel good about themselves. The investors need people to eat it frequently to make it a viable brand. I've had the food and I think it's AMAZING!! Judge it for what it is, which isn't soul food.

i just read up on this place and from your video, it seems like whoever opened the different locations changed things from the original concept. the dude on the show had a set menu for soul daddy, but the woman you talked to said they're "testing menu items"?? ...that just doesn't seem right to me

@AlabamaTeddy Yeah exactly! I can get the same here as well. Hell Hometown Buffet has all you can eat ribs on certain nights. It's funny because the manager even told me she wanted ribs taken off the menu because they were to cost effective and in the Minnesota one they have like 4 rib places next to them which kills they're business even more.
