  • Good video!!

  • People like you are those white supremacy people. Fuck rednecks! Go chew your tobacco some place else. I literary want to hit you with a bat right now. Tell me how much your truck is worth and I will make a video of me burning money as much as it is. Fuck you.

  • Your the type of person that I would beat the shit out of in school. Please tell me what 4 year university you went to so I can complain and sue them for how stupid you turned out. I don't give a fuck about Carrol Shelby's Mustang. I don't give a fuck about Barret Jackson's stupid auction. All I'm saying is that your American "Iron" Is a huge piece of medal that needs to hit a dumpster. Supercharged 4.4 v8 from BMW. More hype than any "USA" build quality. Your a band wagoner.

  • Hey guys, don't worry about this @390merc65 guy. He talks shit on all non American cars. He's a redneck.

  • this must be fake..toyotas never ever brake anything..right?....

  • @390merc65 Rarely, but they do. For the record, my grandfather might have blown his Camry engine tonight, but he didn't maintain the engine well at all; and even still, it had almost 200K on it.

  • @9393zach rarely??..thats questionable....and fords quality is on par with the japanese...JD Power's, Car & Driver , and Consumer reports all state this....almost 200 k and the camry lost a motor ..doesnt good to me...give me an american car or truck anyday of the week

  • @390merc65 Dude, that car had sat for about 6 months before we bought it. The fact that we put almost 80k on it with only one oil change (my grandparents are horrible for that) is a miracle in it's own.

The last good American cars were in the 70's, and even then, they started to cut corners to make a cheaper car. A '65 Mercury with a 390 might be a good car, but a 2001 Taurus isn't worth the metal it's made from.. in some places.

  • @9393zach you can make all the excuses you want, but the fact remains that year for year there are still more older american cars and trucks still ion the road ...i cant even remember that last time i seen a t100 on the road

and sitting for 6 months?..thats nothing to brag about..i have seen american cars sit 20/30 years and get up and running again ..imports are way over rated

  • I ONLY BUY GERMAN CARS LIKE AUDI

  • @doskabier At the dealership I work at EVERy Bimer or Audi over 7 or 8 yrs old = automatic wholesale. They are destroyed mechanically. In contrast, most Camrys that come in may be rough but drive perfect. Just an observation...

  • @GayUOPXBoy10 FORD - Fix or Repair Daily! Why arent Mr. Tough Guy. You mad bro?

  • if you treat any car with care it will last for years no damage

  • @GayUOPXBoy10 You must live in an alternate reality dude all Japanese cars i've dealth with have surpassed a Ford in Reliability and performance. All day any day. You sir are a fucking retarded. I hope that ford lasted you more than a few days. I'd rather push a toyota than drive a ford. Fords are fucking shit.

  • @dynetrax thats an old myth ..,,i love it when a jap car lover praises anything jap built...but where i live ,,you are lucky to see a jap car or truck 15 years or older..but i can hop in my 77 f 150 and just drive around in my town and still see plenty of older american cars and trucks on the road ,,cant say that for jap shit..if toyota is so good then why did they have a recall on a 6 year old taco for rusted frames?..the big 3 never had this issue..why only toyota???.screw toyorta

  • @390merc65 Also, you see so many American cars on the road because rednecks BUY MURRICAN and get it repaired all of the time. If they buy a japanese car, they usually just drive it into a junkyard.

  • @9393zach so every american is a redneck cuzz they have american cars that have lasted a long time?..is Carroll Shelby a red neck?..was done yenko a red neck?..when ppl buy an import and have trouble with them they are to proud or stubborn to admit they are having trouble...ask my neighbor who bought a honda accord new and with only 135k it was going on its second tranny..or ppl who bought a lexus and have engine trouble..or honda's blowing head gaskets

  • @390merc65 Dude, here's a news flash- That was back in the 1960's. This is 2011. Do you realize how much has changed? Of course an American car from 1960 is still on the road today, I have a 1964 Galaxie that runs great, which I can't afford to drive- but it's from 1964! They built things MUCH better back then.

Also, I know a guy with a 199x T100 that's going on 500K. Regular driving, regular maintenance. Try that with a modern Ford.

  • @9393zach ok..look up the 2 ford vans with over a million miles on them ...or the lady in cali with a 68 stang with 800k..think of yourself as being lucky to see a t100 at all..i personally dont care for imports at all ..lets face it..you dont see toyotas on a job site anywere ...all the hard work is up to the american trucks ...there are alot of modern cars and trucks that are american going the distance..you just dont here about them all that much

  • @390merc65 The newer Ford vans are Mazdas. Like, really, it's pretty much a Mazda van. My grandfather had two, each with over 350K, so I'll give them that. But you're missing my point. You keep bringing up these 1960's Fords.. Dude, Honda and Toyota barely even made it out to the US at that time. Of course you won't see one that old on the road. But you WILL see more 1980's Camrys than 1980's Tauruses, heck, and more than 90's ones. (All the 90's Tauruses have bad transmissions- trust me)

  • @9393zach what in the hell r u talkjn about...mazda does not make full size vans for ford..maybe a mini van but not a full size and those are the ones with over a million miles on them ..were i live imports do not survive ..i can hop in my 77 f 150 and still see more 70's ear fords on the road then anything from toyota from the 90's you r 1 of the sheeple that think if its built by toyota or honda..it must be good ..i work for them ..i see alot of crap ..sorry thats just the way it is

  • @9393zach search youtube and you should be able to find a guy that had a ford truck with over a million miles on it..he wanted ford to do something about it....they have..they built him a truck that proved its self and last over a million miles..why dont you ever hear of alot of hondas or toyotas going over a million if they are so great ???..i will give you credit..at least you have a galaxie

  • @390merc65 And why are you bringing racing motors in the equation? You ARE from the US, aren't you? Racing isn't everything about motors. A motor that can't do it's job every day is worthless.. That's why imports are good, because they can take the beating of everyday life.

(Now back in the 60's, American cars could too.. but not anymore.)

  • @9393zach yes i am from the US ..born and raised in northeast PA .[coal region ] .but i am not sold on imports take a beating everyday ,,,i do some work for a toyota dealership ..and i am not impressed...i live close to the worlds largest u pull it yard [harry's u pull it ] in hazleton pa...you can walk in the yard and see tons of these over rated imports that did not make it..not just a few..rows and rows of them ..utube blown head gaskets all that comes up are hondas..imports dont impress me

  • @390merc65 And to top that off.. most of the imports you mentioned were probably stupid kids owning them. kids abuse their cars. They drive them hard, drive them without oil, coolant.. And it's usually younger kids who get imports.

Just for the record though.. all of my junkyards here have Fords and Dodges and Chevys with blown transmissions and head gaskets.. Not many Hondas, Nissans or Toyotas. Or even Mazdas. And I'm from NC, we have a LOT of imports AND American cars on the road..

  • @9393zach no no no ..the cars i am talking about are a lexus...now how many kids buy new a lexu's ?..a lexus is bought by older ppl or retired ppl ...so no abuse on them ..its bad design and you are left with broken valve springs ..i know its hard for you to understand but believe it or not a toyota and honda can and will brake down...i know for a fact seeing i do work for them ..you cant tell me anything different or sell me on the idea just cuzz toyota built it .they do brake down

  • @9393zach speaking of junk toyota's..up here in a snow state toyota had a big recall in their trucks ..and why?..rusted threw frames..i am not talking about a 15 year old truck or older..i am talking a 6 year old truck..the big 3 dont seem to have this issue with their trucks..why is that ?..my 34 year old f 150 does not have frame rot..utube all the frame replacements on toyotas ..there are a ton of them .but not one on a domestic truck..now how can that be?.>>>cont.

  • @9393zach and dont blame the frame rot on how it was takin care of cuzz thats a bullshit excuse ..why did toyota have such a problem with bent tailgates?/..ppl complained and toyota said the owner was abusing the truck ,they did not recommend loading a riding lawn mower or quad on the back of a toyota..toyota said it was over loaded..yet alot of ppl said well..i did the same to the ford or chevy i traded in on a toyota and they did not seem to have this problem at all .. cont>>

  • @9393zach toyota trucks are the rodney dangerfields of trucks..they get no respect..i am going to go out on a limb and say toyota might have a recall soon on headlights for the prius..and i dont buy all that shit with the acceleration trouble all being human error ..why when you utube head gaskets the video's are 95% honda's?..and again dont blame all of them on kids abuse either ,kids also buy american and abuse them ..my nephew is a good example with his sable.yet it still runs fine

  • @9393zach and just for the record..every junk yard has all kinds of cars..my point was if toyota or hondas are superior to american cars i dont see it cuzz in that yard they have a ton of them ..and some as new as 2000 models .my neighbors quality built , superior japanese engineered honda accord puked 2 trannys at only 135k..now how can that be?..he's retired./.the car was garaged kept since new..yet the tranny went twice on it.my 90 grand marquis with 300k still have its original tranny

  • @390merc65 Dude, seriously? Your findings are literally the total opposite of mine. I've never seen an Accord with a blown anything, nor a Civic or Camry. I seriously believe the people where you believe have NO idea how to take care of cars.. unless they're American made.

Mercury Sable? V6, right? That's the Mazda design.

And there are more Youtube videos because people who work on Japanese trucks are usually more computer literate than those who do so on American.

  • @9393zach HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO..Mcfly....i dought you have any findings at all..you are arguing that basically its impossible for a toyota or honda to ever brake down ,,humm...did you happen to notice the very video that we are commenting on??..your right...i am wrong...i'm glad you cleared that up for me...i guess every toyota and honda dealership i see really dont have any service bays at all ..those garage doors at those dealerships are just painted on the side of the buildings

  • @9393zach so you never seen a toyota with a blown anything???..you might want to look up at this very video ....and so by your thinking if you have an import you have to take care of it a different way then if you have an american car right??..so on a toyota or honda you change the oil different then on a american car ...tell me the difference on how you take care of a american car to an import??..a toyota is that good they no longer have hoods ..no need for them ..right??..

  • @9393zach so ppl who work on imports are better at putting up video's then a guy who works on a domestic vehicle..i see ...thats a good one,,,so what you are saying is ppl at toyota making video's of changing frames on those superior built, over engineered toyotas are smarter then the guy across the street working at a chevy or dodge dealership with no video's..i guess Carroll Shelby must be an idiot cuzz he doesnt have many of his own video's on utube ..or don yenko

  • Respond to this video...since when did a 3.0 or 3.8 v6 ford motor become a mazda??you do realize ford is the only domestic car maker to actually make vehicles for an non domestic car maker like mazda..the mazda navajo was a ford explorer , the mazda tribute is actually a ford escape, and for i dont know how many years the mazda b series trucks are just ford ranger's .i guess you will say the ford 302 or 427 are actually a chevy motor or the 428 is really a pontiac v8

  • @390merc65 Oh, and while you're on here, look up Jeremy Clarkson and his opinions on Toyota trucks. :P

  • @9393zach i could care less what jeremy clarkson says about toyota trucks ..5 years ago no one knew who the hell he was ,,now everyone and there brother talks about him like he is god ..he is the last person i will take advice on when it comes to american cars or trucks ,,that guy finds any and all reasons to hate american products ...seeing you are a big fan of him..see the show were he hates the mighty toyota prius ..

  • @390merc65 Clarkson knows a lot about fine cars. He understands the class of cars.

And he says that because it's not a fun to drive car. It's not bad.. just not fun to drive.

Also he hates American cars because of people like you. :3

  • @9393zach he might know alot about fine cars.but he does not like anything american ..he is not american and was not brought up in our world and how we see and used cars not. everyone wants a small , tiny little gas sipper ..so how does he hate american cars cuzz of ppl like me?..what kind of ppl am i?.am i a redneck cuzz i like and stand up for american cars?..sorry if i am not one of the crowd that bends down and kiss's the ground a toyota drives on

  • @9393zach call me a red neck cuzz i will not become part of the crowd and fallow like other sheeple ..you can buy all the imports you want...thats fine but me or my family will not buy or support any imports ..so ppl like me are bad cuzz we buy and support products from our own country?..we wont buy from a company that is in our country but turned their backs on us when 9/11 happened ..if you own an import ..then dont even bitch about our economy then

  • @390merc65 Lemme guess, you voted for Bush, go to church, and are against gay marriage and the legalization of marijuana, hmm? Dude that's not a sheeple thing. People buy imports because they're good cars. Have fun with your high repair bill. :D

  • @9393zach what high repair bills?..i cant remember the last time i even did 1 thing to my 90 grand marquis..and my 77 f150 i admit set me back $11.00 last year for valve cover gaskets..11 bucks in at least 6 years i guess you can hold against me if that makes you feel better ..oh..i found out i have a flickering tail light to ..so another .35 cents worth of a 1157 bulb ..yeah..after 35 years now it will nickel and dime me to death huh ??..whats next??..wiper blades or new air freshner??.

  • @9393zach i dont vote for any of those idiots...and yes i dont like gays either..and i am not into dope either ..when you do what most everyone else does it is a sheeple thing..if you buy imports just cuzz JD powers tells you to thats being a sheeple ..i didnt say imports were junk..i pointed out what the american truck can do and that is something an import can not do ..sorry..thats just the cold hard truth

  • @390merc65 Lol dude you're a flipping moron. But I bet you're pretty hot. :P

You should smoke weed though. It'd loosen your ass a bit. Right now it's so tight.. that'd explain why the shit's only coming from your mouth. :3

Anyway, I'll put $50 that I can buy an '83 Toyota Hilux and abuse it more than your 77 F-150. Or that gas guzzling monster of a car. :P

  • @9393zach i guess ppl who bad mouth the mighty toyota corp.are morons to you ..sorry dude..i am not a toyota cheerleader ..i know that must really hurt you but some ppl do not fallow the crowd ...if you think i say shit about toyota then back up what you say with facts instead of just your opinion ..let me guess..you are like 18 and your mom owns a camry ..and buy an 83 toyota?..i dought any of them are still around , but if you can find one in this country ,,your on

  • @9393zach funny thing ..from time to time i hear the toyota crowd talk about the hilux..were are these mythical trucks at??..i have yet to see one in my life..makes me wonder if toyota ever sold one in this country , but if you can find any 83 toyota i will take your bet..i guess i will let it slide that an 83 is 6 years newer then my truck but i guess toyota needs some kind of handi cap to make it even

  • @9393zach so you want to see how much more abuse a toyota truck can take over my car..ok..,,thats like comparing a f350 to a camry ...for a full size car from 1990 to get 26.2 mpgs is not bad and can carry 6 adults and a truck full of luggage is not bad..how well can a 1990 camry do?..a newer camry gets about 31/33 mpg's..a newer crown vic/grand marquis get 30 mpg's..not bad for a full framed , rear wheel drive ,6 passenger american car

  • @9393zach its funny how ppl who warship a japanese car love to make a point of saying have fun with your domestic's and all the break downs ,,have you driven past a import dealership lately and looked in the service bays?..they aint all in there for oil changes and tire rotations ,and how come you dont hear of or see these mythical toyota's that go over a million miles or more like a domestic?...they are supposed to be so dam great.were the hell are they all??????

  • @390merc65 I've seen quite a few Toyotas hit over a million miles. That's not exactly a feat.

  • @9393zach well think of yourself lucky if you seen such a toyota go over a million..i haven't ..

  • @9393zach you want to see imports that are broken or rotted out bad?..i live in north east PA..close to the worlds largest u pull it yard [harry's you pull it] hazleton pa.feel free to check to see if i am lying ,,and they have rows and rows full of imports.some not so old and are dead..if these imports are so maintenance free and reliable as hell..how is it possible for so many to be in the yard?.anything from a lexus to civic and mercedes that seam to burn for no reason may i add

  • @390merc65 Um.. it's because hillbillies keep repairing the American cars! You act like you've never done ANYTHING to that F-150. Or that Gran Marquis. To top that off, they even SELL more imports than they do American cars, so of COURSE you'll see more in the junkyards. Car that get wrecked, and just plain abandoned go to junkyards.. I bet with minimum work, I could get one of those "junker" Toyotas on the road again. :P

  • @9393zach again with your opinion ,,its funny when a toyota guy cant come up with facts they resort to insults ..sorry dude..not everything built by toyota is superior to american vehicles ,..i know that must hurt you , and maybe you wont agree with that either, but yeah its true ,,,the best selling car now is the camry ..does that make you feel better now knowing that ??..but they were not always the best selling ,,,ouch ..still the ford f150 is [THEE] best selling vehicle in this country

  • @9393zach oh yes dude..my truck in its 34 years of hard work has parts replaced..i am not some kid and will deny that ,,i am man enuff to admit to that ..i put at least 2 alt on it..starter relay. horn relay, front axle joints ..and a rad about 15 years ago after i smashed with a tree branch ,,so not to bad seeing it has been a work horse from day 1 ..and i know this cuzz my dad bought it brand new so i know its history ..oh.i didnt fix my flickering tail light yet..a 35 cent 1157 bulb

  • @9393zach alot of these toyotas in the yard are not all smashed ..or that old either ,,but isnt the word junkyard and toyota a contradiction of terms??..so toyota sells a few more cars in a year so that justify's why you see more of them in a yard?..how can that be??i mean they are toyota's they are known to last forever and never break down right? so how can you explain why you still see alot of toyota's of many years still in the yard?

how did they get there if they are so superior?????

  • @9393zach if it was so simple to get those [junker] toyota's back on the road..why didnt the owners do this??..are you onto something other ppl are not??...believe it or not kid..even imports die..that includes the mighty toyota ..if you dought me..just look up at this video ...or to the right side of this video >>>>...yes even your beloved , magical , toyota can and will break down ,,and are 3 times to price to fix

  • @9393zach you are import blind..you are the kind of person that some one can prove to you they had good luck with a domestic you wont believe it ...yes domestics got lazy for a while but we also have some good vehicles too ..you choose only to hear all the bad but will ignore the storys of ppl having good luck and high millage with them...or say they must of had a ton of trouble with it along the way ..there are more domestics with a million miles them, then there are toyotas .why is that??

  • @390merc65 ppl like you love to label any and all domestics as unreliable junk ..and will never give credit were credit is due ..did i mention that i do service work for toyota?..i cant tell you all the bad i have seen toyota do ..yet ppl like you swear they are built by god himself.and that aint true ..just becuase there is a shinny [t] on the grill does not mean MR Toyoda personally built each and every car with tender care..and if you bought an import..dont say a word about our economy

  • @390merc65

You don't know enough about how the economy works to speak against anything, troll.

  • @briggsandclones yeah your right.i can see how buying from a foreign auto maker helps keep money here instead of them taking the profit over to their home land were they are from [japan]..it makes sense..buy from an outsider instead of a company in our own back yard ..if you had a corner store but everyone bought food from the next town does that help your economy??i can bet you own a toyota .if so then dont even talk about the economy..if you lose your job..eat your import.enjoy your dinner

  • @390merc65 You don't now how the economy works, moron. American corporations don't even give back to the economy anymore.

Oh and btw Mr. Toyota? Lololololol..

And I never said Ford has never made a good car. My grandpa put 300,000 miles on his Ford van.. after he changed the transmission twice. Seriously dude, it's about luck.. and you're more likely to have better luck with a japanese car.

  • @9393zach so all company products around the world are built on luck?..i guess r&d and engineering have nothing to do with the quality of anything it just comes down to luck..i see....oh and btw,,it IS Mr.Toyoda ...not toyota ...it wasnt cheap steel used by toyota to cause rust issues and have frames replaced ..or control arms ,,,or flimsy tailgates folding and bending...or weak ball joints breaking ..it all comes down to toyota just having some bad luck huh???

  • @9393zach and thats a cute little poke you tried to make towards me about your grandpa van going 300k after 2 tranny's...i think i rather have a tranny go in a van then have to rip apart the entire vehicle to swap frames ..if you have better luck with a japanese car, that go's against the grain of belief of why is there more american vehicles with a million or more miles on them then a japanese vehicle .there at least 2 ford vans on utube with over a million on them ,,check it out

  • @9393zach i guess you are one of those sheeple and believe all you see on tv and really believe killing a toyota on top gear was all true..and at no time did that truck need any off camera prep work to get it running again...so if you believe that ,then you must also believe the whole time the dukes of hazzard were on tv for its 6 year or what ever it was that the whole time during that show they only used one 69 charger for all those stunts and everything else ,,,right???

  • @390merc65 Dude.. bullshit. Okay man? Bullshit. Dodges were never reliable enough to withstand that. I watched that show as a kid, and there were more than 20 different general lees. Where did you hear that there was only one?

  • @9393zach you might want to read my post again ..if you do then you will see i was being sarcastic when i said that show used only 1 charger..and you are wrong..they used about 300 of those cars not 20 ..

  • @9393zach why dont you go out in the real world and ask ppl who use a truck for work why they do not use a toyota??..ask the construction worker..look at the crews who rebuild roads and do not use a toyota..ask the firemen why they do not use a toyota ?.ask a cop ..ask all the guys who drive ambulance why you dont see 1 toyota ambulance anywere in this country .ask toyota why they use american trucks to deliver their very own products to their dealerships and not another toyota to do this???

  • @390merc65

Toyotas are more american than Fords here in Texas lol.

  • @briggsandclones oh really?..why cuzz they are glued together in texas???you might want to do some checking cuzz ford still makes cars and trucks here ...just think even your more american japanese truck use's parts from mexico ,,now hows that treatin you???..a ford can be sold anywere in the world but the profit from that sales brings the money back to U,S soil..but your american assembled japanese truck takes profit out of the country to japan ,,

  • @390merc65

No, because everything is produced over the border and then brought over lol. What? Profit leaves teh US to Mexico lol. Toyota US is an independent corporation from Japan lol. There are a crapload of Toyota and Honda plants right down here dude...

  • @briggsandclones oh really?..so its ok to buy and support a non american car company that use's foreign parts on a american assembled japanese car ..i see..but its not ok to say..buy a f150 and the wiring harness was built in mexico ..toyota US is just an expansion of toyota japan....toyota is global just like ford ..toyota of US cant take a shit without the big wiggs in japan putting an ok to it first , and look around , the big 3 also employ americans for more money and have plants here too

  • @briggsandclones if you are talking about ford being in mexico..i hope this is not something new to you..ford has been in mexico and south america for the last 50 years or so .and most of everything built by ford in mexico ,,stays in mexico ..you cant buy a lobo here can you? no of coarse not ford was also in canada..and you could not buy a mercury pick up here at all ..built and sold in canada only ,ford was in other country's longer then toyota is in business

  • @390merc65

Lol no, the majority of Fords here are imported from Mexico. Rebranding doesn't make it nonamerican, nor vice versa.

  • @briggsandclones oh are they??really??..you are right..all ford plants in the US are shut down and anything with a ford logo on it comes from mexico ..i see..i am glad you set me straight on that ..so if i want a american car i will be sure to buy a japanese toyota assembled in america that use's parts from mexico and other country's and takes huge amounts of american money out of this country ,,they take out more then they leave behind ...good call ..

  • @390merc65

Lol Toyotas are built and assembled from the US lol. The pedal-sticking epidemic was from fault US parts lol, Japanese imported models weren't affected.

  • @briggsandclones woah there cowboy..not all toyota's are built here...they still import toyota's from japan ..and no matter were the parts were built faulty or not..its toyota's responsibility to check every so many that come down the line..so its toyota's fault...their name is on the vehicle so they are resposnsable for every single part on their vehicles ,,and toyota of japan did have trouble ...

  • @390merc65 Because American cars and trucks appeal to rednecks. Not only that, but they sign contracts with American cities and the American governments. Not anything wrong with that, seeing that they're usually just drive. until they fall apart anyway. A Toyota could handle the job well.

  • @9393zach i hate to disappoint you , but i am not a redneck..or other ppl who like american cars and trucks...how do you get the idea if someone likes or needs an american truck they are a redneck?,,any street or highway you drive your import on was built with the help of an american truck ..so ppl who buy a ford ambulance are redneck's?.when was the last time you seen a toyota ambulance?,or school buss?.4wd diesel powered dump truck with a plow?..were do i stop here???

  • @9393zach so some one who buys an american truck is a redneck..i see..did you ever notice that anywere you go in this country that anyone who needs a truck for work like a construction job use american trucks cuzz they need something to do hard , heavy work?..something toyota does not offer ..you dont see toyotas on the job site other then maybe the pizza delivery guy ..ever wonder how toyota vehicles get delivered to the dealership's?.on the back of an american truck thats how

  • @9393zach did you ever stop and think maybe the government buys american trucks cuzz they need a hard working diesel truck??.and our government should buy products from its own home town and not support the imports..is Carroll Shelby , or don yenko..or Lee Iaccoca ,John Delorean ,Harley Earl ,Charles Lindbergh , and many other's all red necks?

  • @390merc65 Um.. No, they were intelligent Americans.. in their day. They're mostly just faces now, names. Used to market outdated technology to a generation of sheeple who will buy anything that sounds fast.

  • @9393zach other then using a toyota to run to walmart to get plastic lawn furniture ..what hard job could a toyota handle well?..when do you see a toyota for police use?..or take kids to school?.plow roads and highways?.towing 24,000 lbs?. a fire truck?..the list go's on and on ..all hard work is done by an american truck..show me just 1 example of a toyota doing any hard and heavy work?

  • @390merc65 I could pull a trailer with a 500K+ Mile Toyota T-100 my grandfather's friend drives. The only reason American government uses those trucks is because they're AMERICAN. Idiot, I could do any of those things with a Toyota truck and hey, yanno they do it in Japan, right? Yeah.

  • @9393zach so a toyota can do anything an american truck can do ??..do you really want to go there??..lets see....show me just one..[JUST ONE] toyota that can tow 24.000 lbs ?.show me 1 dually , diesel powered , 4wd dump body toyota truck..or 1 commercial van?.1 toyota school buss? 1 toyota tow vehicle?.,,just look on any job site and you will see all the heavy , back breaking abusive work is done by the american truck,,even your toyota was delivered to the dealership on a american truck

  • @9393zach so the [ONLY] reason why the american govr, use's american trucks is cuzz they are american??..did you ever stop and think they use american trucks cuzz its only an american truck that can do and handle the heavy duty job that is required them to do??..and that they require most of their vehicles to run on diesel?..something toyota does not offer ..all ball busting aside kid..toyota offer's [ONLY ONE] full size truck, but the big 3 offer a full fleet of heavy duty trucks

  • @9393zach i am sure you can pull a [empty] trailer with a t100..and the U.S covrn, should buy american trucks..they should support american products..anything wrong with that kind of thinking?..are you not american ??..the t100 was a joke of a truck..if it was that great why did they stop making them?,,and if toyota is that great why is it [only] toyota that was buying back their own trucks over rusted frames??.ford chevy and dodge did not have this issue so early in life,,why just toyota??

  • @9393zach it must suck to know even toyota use's american trucks or they could not survive here,,like i said the very toyota you or anyone else you know that are driving all got delivered to the dealership on the back of an american truck..the roads you drive on were built with an american truck,,the toyota dealership and toyotas very own plants in this country were built with the help of an american truck..the house you live in was built with the help of an american truck

  • @9393zach the only idiot here is the person who thinks they can show up at a job site and think they can out work an american truck ...i'll tell you like i have told others..dont bad mouth an american truck to much cuzz you rely on them more then you think ..if you ever needed a cop..fire truck, ambulance, tow truck, guess what?, they aint gunna show up in front of your house to help you out in any kind of jap truck what so ever ..and thats a fact

  • @390merc65 I'll do it any day. Just get me the truck, I'll outwork the Ford, Chevy or Dodge any day.

  • @9393zach lol..are you on crack ??.really??..get your own toyota then we will talk..i have the truck to back it up outside my window.,,show me 1 toyota that can tow over 24.000 lbs...dont hold your breath cuzz toyota does not make such a truck..sending a toyota into a job site is like sending a kitten into a ring full of pissed off and very hungry put bulls ,all i can say is . no one shows up on a job site with a toyota unless you are the pizza delivery guy .or a florist delivering flowers

  • @9393zach just remember this kid....you dont send in a toyota to do a trucks job..and are you allowed up this late on a school night???

  • @390merc65 Um.. No, You send a Toyota Hilux or a Nissan hardbody to do a trucks' job. Or a T-100 or Tundra.

Oh and implying I'm a child just shows me that you're 12.. that and the fact you actually care about the reputation of Ford and Chevy. oh and btw, for the record, I'm 18. I don't have a bedtime.. if anything, I need one.

  • @9393zach a hilux?..funny how ppl talk about these trucks but they were not sold in the states .and a nissan hard body was just a sales slogan , and hell yeah i care about the big 3..is it wrong to do this seeing i am american?..and if you work for them they pay more money to the workers then any import built here ..and see years ago when you were only 10 we had a thing called 9/11 in 2001 ..in this country all imports except vw donated cash and thing's to this event..imports , zero

  • @9393zach you owe me beer after i lost it laffing at your comment about the t 100..all i can say is anything you have including your house was built with the help of a american truck...ling live ford and chevy ...i could spit and puke on any toyota i see..the scumbags they are...18 huh?..to think both my fords are older then you...you dont need a bedtime you need to go out and look and see the trucks that are working hard..they aint toyota's..and remember,,,BUY AMERICAN...

  • @390merc65 Any T-100 will pull back your Ford and outlast it. I'll put money on that.

And oops, sorry, can't buy you a beer. You can buy me one, if you'd like though. Yanno, because a T-100 would pull your truck. ;D

  • @9393zach ok..your right...who am i to dare put my truck to any toyota let alone the mighty t100 ..the t100 is legendary in the truck world ..to bad all other trucks cant possibly measure up to the t100...the mighty t100 came with a fricken 4cylinder or v6 ,,who the hell puts a 4 banger in a full sizer truck?.that was so stupid..it never came with a v8 ,,and they only made that truck for 5 years ..face it kid,.the toyota truck sucks ass ..a t100 is a dead dinosaur

  • @390merc65 Um.. The power is in the transmission, dumbass. My grandpa's tractor has a 3 cylinder.

  • @9393zach ..power is from the motor...the tranny multiply's tq,,thats the difference

  • @390merc65 The 3 cylinder tractor can pull over a ton of weight.. hell, I'm pretty sure that thing could pull a tank down the road. It has three cylinders. Three of them. Three. THREE. It's a '69 Ford tractor (which WAS the top of their era, I'll give them that as well), but I swear it could pull a full sized truck back. It's all in it's transmission.

  • @9393zach ...so it has 3 cylinder's...big deal...things like that get its power from gear reduction ,,,you can use a electric motor out of a blender to pull a diesel locomotive if geared enuff.

  • @390merc65 -.- That's exactly what I was saying, moron. The six cylinder in the T-100 was enough.

  • @9393zach the power in the t100 might be enuff for the average grand mother and its 6 banger kept it's towing cap lower then all the other trucks ..the t100 was basically just a glorified tacoma of the day ,,and who puts a 4cylinder in a full size truck?..no one ..well except for toyota

  • @9393zach did you know ford actually use's a few t 100's in their factory's???....its true..the have them standing on their rear bumper's and leaning against the walls in the mens bathroom ........... they use them as a urinal ..

  • @390merc65 Yeah they use a few Fords at the toyota plant too. Yanno, to melt down so they'll have fresh metal to build their Toyotas from? :P

  • @9393zach ya no this is getting old...if toyota is so dam good why cant they outsell american trucks at all?..be real kid..toyota offer just one full size truck..you might not like that ..or understand it..or agree with it..but thats the cold hard facts..toyota is small potato's in the truck world..you will probably cry after you read this and have your feelings hurt , but anyone who needs a heavy duty truck does not use toyota's....later

  • @390merc65 Um.. Dude you're a dumbass lol. They don't sell American trucks because look who buys trucks usually. Americans. Patriotic ones. But do you know who's the top seller of cars right now? Toyota- why? Because they make good cars. Not the fastest. But good ones.

Just face it.. The American auto industry is dead. We can't build cars like we used to, because we stuck to tradition in the wrong ways. We should've updated the right things with over head cams, VVT and other things.. not weight

  • @9393zach We need less more of the same. We need more pride in our build, and a stronger build.. new technologies, newer plants, and better engineers. Engineers who know that bigger is not better. Engineers who can make more power with smaller engines, not less power with a big one.

To your credit though, Ford is the company who is trying to get better. Mod blocks are wonderful motors, and the 302 was great in it's time. So was the 390 in it's day. but everyone else just gets worse.

  • @9393zach whats this we stuff?..you worship imports..so were is this we stuff comming from?..maybe you never heard of ecoboost..but ford offers a 6 cylinder truck that has more power then any toyota truck could imagine and gets better mpg's..were is the mighty tundra with its technology?..what great innovative technology has toyota brought to the truck world?..and do you realize ford makes a new 302???...the old 302 was a good motor and so is the new one..toyota is not god

  • @390merc65 The Ecoboost V6 is a great motor. So is the new mod block 302. They're both very good motors. But they're not as reliable as toyota's motors, in my experience, the failure rate seems higher. Also, the overall build of the car nowadays seems cheaper.. which, is a twist, seeing how well built Fords of the 60's were.

  • @9393zach how many years experience do you have with these new motors?..a year and a half?..these motors just came out.and i think you are getting your opinion mixed up with facts,,the facts are that todays cars the build quality is alot higher then the 60's , all test firms back this up that todays cars are as good as imports .i can tell you from my experience owning a few 60's ford and being around other 60's car build quality wasnt as good as it is today

  • @390merc65 Actually they didn't just come out. It's the turbos that make them "ecoboost" that just came out.

For the record, they're also using the European designed 4.0 V6 as a base motor. :P

  • @390merc65 More power than any Toyota? Look at the Special Edition Tundra. Supercharged 5.7. Over 500hp. Stfu

  • @ktmrider53 well well well ,,FINALLY ..TOYOTA was able to make a motor with power with all the engineering we have today at our feet,,what took them so long to catch up??..to bad it took all of toyotas history to do this ,,seeing you had to wiki your answers did you also notice the 660hp ford motor from the 1960's was naturally aspirated??..to bad toyota made this motor in a tundra cuzz in a few years with the 15 they built the trucks will be all rusted away in 8 years

  • @390merc65 1992 Toyota T-100, 500K+, just came back from a trip to Texas and back. 80MPH the whole way, with a load of stuff in the back. Sorry, wait another 15 years, there should be rust by then.

  • @9393zach come to pa...drive behind most toyota dealerships and you will clearly see piles of changed out frames on toyota's..go to any state with alot of snow..i know you hate to admit it but yes toyota did have troubles with rusted out frames but yet the same year domestics did not seem to have this issue....just because toyota made something does not mean its the greatest vehicle on wheels...toyota do and will break ..except they are 3 times the expense to fix..

  • @9393zach from texas to were??..and big deal..that is nothing to brag about..there are many american trucks doing this on a daily basis...bring that t100 up in a snow state and it wont last long..sorry ,,thats just the facts..dont get mad at me for that ..get mad at toyota for that ,,

  • @9393zach i'm a dumbass?..maybe you should look around before you shoot your mouth off and make yourself look bad..no body buys american??..funny..the top 2 sellers are the ford and chevy ....ford has more in the top ten sellers then ..toyota..honda ..or nissan ..so how can you say no one buys american and our industry is dead when ford has more in the top then the imports?..toyota has the best selling sedan ..dumbass

  • @9393zach is there something wrong with being american and buying american products???..is it wrong to be patriotic???..and over head cams??..ford made v8's wayyyyyyyyyyyy back in the 1960's that were over head cammed...the fucking pinto 4cylinder was over head cam back in the 70's..look around..you will see we have vvt...the american auto industry has probably came up with more new technology then the imports..get your head out of toyota's ass for once and look around

  • @390merc65 Yes. Yes there is. Patriotism causes blindness. Blindness is what caused the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act to be passed.

Also, have fun adjusting the lifters on the Ford OHC in the 60's. To be fair, Pontiac designed the first modern SOHC engine.. although they abandoned it, and they never used it in V8s. We has finally caught up with the tech in the import motors.. FINALLY.

  • @9393zach being in the automotive field is how i make my decision's ..and being around imports also helps with this..adjusting valves on motors from the 1960's is nothing new or unexpected ..ford built sohc motors back in the 1940's for tank use .maybe pontiac did do this before ford ,i dont know but other then maybe vvt on imports how did they excel in engine teck?..and i will bet the idea of vvt was probably from Europe , we had fuel injection back in the 50's

  • @390merc65 Exactly, you don't know. You don't know what you're talking about. OHC motors were a specialized thing until imports came around. The only street car that had these were the Pontiac Temptests and the 6-cylinder Firebirds from that era. First SOHC motor in a western car.

  • @9393zach you are right..i am wrong..americans never had or used the ohc design untill the 1960's..but then why did ford use this exclusive japanese technology as ww2 was going on???..i know all about the chevy based ohc pontiac used in the 60's..and ford in the 70's ..i must be imagining the cammer motor then from ford ,,it was a race designed motor and offered to the public..dont get mixed up between something not selling alot of and something specialized as you claim

  • @390merc65 Who cares about the past! It's about the better car now! Any Ford in the same class as a Toyota is not as good! Look at some reports and see how Ford is doing. Toyota passed up Ford a couple of years ago on sales and you say they have been making cars twice as long. Lol

  • @ktmrider53 funny you say that ,..i have looked at reports ..about 2 years ago car and driver or who ever it was at the time did a side by side comparo ..it was the fusion vs camry ..the fusions fit and finish and over all quality was supreme to the camry ..and how long is the camry out to the fusion?.and you cant blame the camry being built in the states..it was built in toyota's very own japan assembly line and shipped here..the camry absolutely sucked for quality work..so much for toyota huh?

  • @ktmrider53 ford not as good??..i dont know what reports you are looking at , but all the experts that compare cars all say fords quality has gone way up..in fact it is these same outfits that now say fords quality is as good or better then toyota ..now i know you cant comprehend that cuzz for years you have been told for over 20 years the imports are better..and who tells you this?..cunsumer reports and the rst of them that ppl relied for years on..so you see ford does good actually

  • @ktmrider53 when you go looking for info ..please take the time to understand exactly what you are reading ..if you cant go get an adult and have them read it to you ,,funny if ford is so far behind toyota..then tell me why out of the top 10 vehicles ford has 3 and toyota has 2..now how is that possible if toyota passed ford..and these figure's are up to date ..toyota has the best selling car..ford f series outsells every dam thing sold in this country including the camry

  • @ktmrider53 yes the toyota camry is the best selling car.but they are not to far ahead of fusion sales..and how long is camry out?..at least 20 years to the fusion's 2 ..toyota only has a marginal lead over the ford ,its not like toyota made 5trillion camry's to fords 200 fusions either ....and not one toyota truck is in the top 10 at all...and out of the top 10 seller's [only] ford has 3 vehicles .not gm mopar and any and all imports

  • @ktmrider53 i hate to say this but isnt the mighty toyota tundra in the same class of truck as the ford f150?..ford could stop total truck production for at least 6 months before a tundra might catch up with toyota running full blast ..if yota is so superior..just take a ride around a few toyota dealerships and look in the service bays..not all of those toyota';s are just there for a simple wiper blade change and washer fluid fill up ..

  • @ktmrider53 ..i just heard on the news that if the top engineer's at nasa knew the toyota tundra was so tuff and long lasting they would have never invested millions of dollars on technology to run someone into space with a shuttle..starting next year nasa will just put a tundra standing on its back bumper and duck tape a few rockets to it;s side's to cut down on cost's ..next year the president will just sit in a tundra cuzz they are bullet proof

  • @ktmrider53 i'm glad you set me straight on the facts..and toyota's never break do they?..i guess this video is fake..its actually a brand new ford motor right?..toyotas never break and anyone who owns a toyota will tell you this huh....i mean anyone who claims to have any troubles with a toyota is absurd ..i guess its a conspiracy started from dumb rednecks who only buy american..

  • @390merc65 Did I ever say they didn't break? Well show me a video of a American motor OF YOURS that has over 500,000 miles on it on the same motor and trans and runs okay.

  • @ktmrider53 well i am working on getting up to 500k,,my truck only has a tick over 300k on it now..i didnt hot 500k yet but plenty of others have..hell you can utube 2 ford vans with over a million on them or a lady who owns a 64 comet with over 600k or another lady in cali i believe owns a 68 stang with 800k..plenty of american iron have gone the distance,,but as soon as i reach 500k with my truck i will let you know..show me 1 of your imports with 500k

  • @390merc65 It was a 4runner with a 22re motor. My Uncle's not mine. If a car has over 80,000 miles no matter what it is, it's on it's way of being a piece of shit.

  • @ktmrider53 r u for real?.80k and its going to be crap?....that cant be father from the truth ,,all my fords seemed to do ok with 200k or more on them ..hell i had a 72 maverick with the stock 250/6 and c/4 tranny and it ran great for years..i sold it and to this day that car is still around..5 miles from my house.i know it has about 320k on it .my 77 is over 300k along with my 90 grand marquis ...i dont know were you get 80k and its going down hill

  • @390merc65 Well when cars get over 80k you trade it in. Don't do breaks, tires or anything. Go get a new car like a real man.

  • @ktmrider53 at 80 they are just starting to loosen up..i think a real man has no issue with doing any of this work

  • @390merc65 Loosen up? Yeah if your a redneck and keep a car in your family forever.

  • @ktmrider53 oh i love this..ppl are rednecks if they keep a vehicle for many years ,,my truck is in the family since new so is the grand marquis but aside from that ,,i dont live in a trailer .i dont have old appliances in my yard , i have all of my teeth , i dont even own a flannel shirt , i dont sleep with my sister, and born and raised in the north so i dont think i have what it takes to be a redneck

  • @390merc65 If your born in the north why do you praise American cars?

  • @390merc65 If your born in the north why do you praise American cars?

  • @ktmrider53 what does living in the north have anything to do with liking american cars?

  • @390merc65 If your from the North then why do you like nothing but Ford? A American product?

  • @ktmrider53 maybe i took my stupid pill today but i dont get living in the north has anything to do about liking ford....my buddy lives in new mexico and he is also a ford guy ,,and is there something wrong with liking fords?...is it wrong to like something american???

  • @390merc65 Yes. "Fix Or Repair Daily."

  • @ktmrider53 TOYOTA...The One You Ought To Avoid ........

  • @390merc65 Because there too nice of a car for you. Lol

  • @ktmrider53 no..i have standards to high for an econo car maker like toyota..i lived my whole life without toyota or any import..i will continue to do so ..a tundra is ok i guess if you drive to walmart and just buy plastic lawn furniture ..but most americans who need a truck for actual work ..I MEAN WORK ..dont lower their standards and settle for a light duty, sub par truck as a tundra ..and to think even toyota use's american trucks for their very own business

  • @390merc65 I bet you my truck will out pull your 3/4 ton. Lol

  • @ktmrider53 my truck has been a work horse for 35 years..if your import gets to be that old with over 3 decades of work under its belt you will have something to talk about ..my truck needs to prove nothing ..its long work history is more then enuff credentials on its work resume . so tell me how well is a 77 toyota or nissan [datson] ..this is getting old already ..whats next..you dad can beat my dad up?..dont you have any friends?

  • @ktmrider53 i will bet ..no no..i know my truck has out lived and outworked your truck ..so you want to prove your truck can out pull mine..i see...a 35 year old ,300k , watered down 351m with a whopping 160hp with a 2bbl carb and open diff's against a much newer , fuel injected , hardly used modern truck,...sounds tempting, but come back when you grow up and get a real truck cuzz i dont want to embarrassed you and make you feel bad .later

  • @390merc65 Well your "3/4 ton" Is over rated. A Prius has almost as much hp as your truck. Then a Prius gets 50mpg and your truck gets like 9. :P A 1977 Toyota pickup is a beastly machine. Oh yeah, see if Ford will make a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder motor with 300hp. Subaru did. Why can't Ford? There the best right?

  • @ktmrider53 if you are going to bust my balls ,,try to at least get it right,,my truck is not a 3/4 ton..its a half ton ..i dont care what millage a prius gets..your still stuck with a toyota ..my trucks get about 14..ok..next time i get 12 inches of snow in my area get your prius and fallow me..if you can ..

  • @ktmrider53 if 70hp in a 77 toyota is your idea of a beastly machine ..then i recommend you never get into a raptor...if these old toyota's are so great ,,were the hell are the old ones at??..it must be 25 years at least since i seen any 77 import ..and i am sure ford is capable or making 300hp out of their 4 banger if they felt the need to do so ,,ford made 400hp way back in 58,,what did subaru do back then?..or any import for that matter

  • @390merc65 The Prius has 108hp. Who cares about the past? I saw a 77 Toyota strait axle yesterday for your info. Ford Raptor's are over rated. Do you understand what I could do to my truck with 30k? My truck was 28k otd. Raptor's are about 60k. All it has is some Fox coil overs and some generic a-arms that are maid in Austria. Lol It's a American Car right?

  • @ktmrider53 woooooooooooooooooooooow 108hp..thats a neck snapper ..and who care's about that past?.i guess you never seen the auto auction called barret jackson have you ?..there is a huge industry devoted to nothing but old cars and trucks and worth millions of dollars..and big deal about the prius..when that car gets to be 10 or more years old sitting on the used car lot and needs a battery to keeps its millage will go away cuzz most ppl wont buy a 10 year old car then invest 3k mnorecont>

  • @ktmrider53 when the pruis gets to be 10 years old no one will buy the car then invest another 3k into it make still get that millage for a battery ..you would be a fool to put 30k into your truck ..the raptor might be a bit pricey but its the only truck you can buy off the dealer lot made like that ...and ford is selling them ..and its more then just fox shocks and A arms.....and yes..its american ..and we cant talk about nissan..they dont even make a full size truck ..

  • @ktmrider53 and lucky you if you saw a 77 toyota ,,,i would have to google that to remember what one even looks like..but yet there are still alot of 70's ear american trucks still around..mine is one of them ,,and ford is in Australia since at least the 1940's ..and to remind you imports do break..just look up at this video..ok?...no go get your fuckin shine box...

  • @390merc65 I said Austria, not Australia. Toyota makes a Tacoma Baja that out preforms the Ford raptor. I never said imports don't break. I said Ford is not as good as Japanese cars. Sure you have full size trucks from the US, but Japan has nothing in the same class. A Tundra out goes a F-150 in every comparison. Oh yeah, my friend's Dad just bought that "Eco boost" truck from Ford. It ran a 15.8 when my stock truck ran a 14.6 that is strait motor. Pathetic.

  • @ktmrider53 were is this mythical great baja at?..and the tundra out goes the f150 in every way?..are you for real?..thats odd cuzz all the car reports say different..and its nice to see toyota [try] to make a off road truck..but why did toyota use the smaller tacoma?..and its only a 6 cylinder truck..and to think yet again they got the idea of this truck from who?/ford why cant toyota come up with anything of their own?..were would toyota be if they did not have ford to copy from?

  • @ktmrider53 and not having the same trucks in other country's means nothing to me..i live here..thats like say a big mac in england tastes different then the ones here..i'm guessing your friends dad wasnt driving the truck right..and keep this in mind..the ford is full size..not small like your's you can bad mouth ford all you want.but ford still sells more then probably toyota and nissan combined

  • @ktmrider53 and it makes me wonder if toyota would have ever offered a full size truck if the big 3 did not make any..i guess not..you will still be stuck with a tacoma and nothing more..but why is it when toyota try's to make something they still fall short and they have other's to copy from?.first full size toyota t100 was disapointment .now they try to counter the raptor yet they use the small tacoma and only offers a 6 banger..see?..they fall short..toyota = fail,,later

  • @390merc65 There is more than the "Big 3" making diesel trucks. You notice that Mercedes and Volvo make trucks? There are plenty of Honda's and Toyota's on here. with over 1,000,000k miles. 6 banger? Yeah with my 285hp I'll rape the shit out of a Ford Raptor in a drag race. If my truck had fox coil overs and some generic ass a-arms I could stomp on that Ford Raptor. I bet there is know American truck that could take my dirt roads like my Nissan. Besides the Ford Raptor. Thanks to Fox, Not Ford.

  • @ktmrider53 i know all about them making diesel trucks..but we are talking about pick up's ..and last time i looked around..i aint never seen a volvo or mercedes pick up ,,,and there are plenty of american vehicles with a million or more also ..and how does a nissan with 285 hp out perform fords weakest motor at 302hp?...and i highly dought your nissan can go head to head with the raptor,,,and tell me how fords a arms are generic?.

  • @ktmrider53 the ford raptor is more then just a few stickers on the side and fox shocks to it..if these nissans are so dam good like you say then why do ppl who desert race spend tons of cash on trucks for mods to do this..why dont they all just buy a stock nissan and save thousands of $ and desert race them?.so what makes your nissan so much better then any other truck out there?..they build a small truck for light duty ,,dont get mad at me get mad at nissan for making your truck lite duty
