So...it's 1993 in Sonic CD...and the Metal Sonic battle takes place in the future...there's enough time travel in Sonic Generations for a single game, yet we need even more paradoxes, SURE. And there's also the Silver battle...which for some reason has Crisis City which should have been wiped away due to the time resetting at the end of Sonic 2006...*BOOOOOM*

If Time Eater can warp dimensions, it might have enough power to resurrect Solaris or create creatures of its own based on them...but the strange thing is, Solaris' monsters appear as well as Crisis City - time travel...

@Edfan10 Time Eater can manipulate time and space, that includes moments in time that aren't a part of the true timeline, which are referred as alternate universes. Although the idea of time travel can create paradoxes, if time travel allows a person to travel through space (not the thing, the idea) they can create alternate histories and futures without necessarily affecting their own. I think that 's how the Chaos Emeralds work. Thumbs up with my comment if my theory makes sense in that regard
