I think of the Urlar as 1011, with much longer units and not really related to the vars. I drew on both the traditional pibroch and the Battle of Harlaw ballad tune, as sung by Andy Hunter. I don't unleash the polyphonic potential of the triplepipe, however: that's something I must develop before I perform piece this again.
