Skill takes time, and most of us appreciate the time you take to take us step by step through the process. Thanks Mayen, I have learned a lot from you. (I also apologize if I spelled your name wrong,lol:-) ).
@baldwinhme, you can make edible glue by adding 1/4 tsp cmc or tylose powder to 1 1/2 tbsps of purified water (or cooled boiled water). it may look lumpy at first, but leaving the mixture in the fridge for a couple of hours will make lumps disappear. it lasts for a week.
Your videos are definitely NOT boring. They are very helpful and I love them. The only complaint is that there is a lot of blurring and I lost some of what you are doing..
Fantastic! I found this really helpful as I am always struggling to do the hair on my figures. Now I know how thanks to your step by step tutorial. Oh and by the way, certainly NOT boring. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.
I think you do a FANTASTIC job at instructing, I now search for your tutorials because I know you take your time and explain things clearly and your directions are easy to follow....never boring :-). Keep up the great work!!!
Awesome, thanks so much for taking time to help us beginners, I TRULY NEEDED TO SEE SOMEONE DEMOSTRATE! My daughter is having twin girls and I want to make fondant babies for her shower cake and this may help me!!!
Very cute & helpful! I was trying to make 'realistic' faces,& after 4 hours, decided to make them 'cute'! What media you use here? I'm vegetarian, so I make my own fondant, without gelatin, but now buy Duff Goldman's fondant at Michael's.(tastes really good and no gelatin) But it never entirely hardens, and things droop. I have added gumpaste in all amounts, and often see cracks or dryness. I'm making a cake NOW cause it's huge, (this cake I'm making will not have the figures eaten) so any tips?
I enjoy you videos !! If some thinks that it is boring then they do not have to watch they can just move on without there ungreatful remarks.I am greatful that you are willing to share. THANKS!!
You are so wonderful to share as you do. I greatly appreciate the time that you take and your extraordinary attention to detail. You are an outstanding teacher. Thank you.
Mayen, you are one of the best teachers on you tube. The person who said you are boring is sad. You do your tutorials with love and thorough simplicitiy. I thank you for your gift of sharing. Keep up the good work.
2. Next time you need to hold something close the camera, hold you hand behind what you're trying to focus on. It's what the beauty gurus do when showing a brush or small product. Just a friendly fyi.
Thanks for sharing, and your video's are not to long and boring. I always look forward to watching your new video's. Your a very talented woman, and I thank you for putting in all the time that you do to share these video's.
Love this technique. i should have done this for my bella figurine instead of each strand and curling it! and you are not boring in your videos., i love it when it is long because you add more steps and i can see how the details are being made! Thanks for posting this!
I like that you talk in your tutorials. You are not boring! While I'm watching the videos I have questions that you eventually answer while you're demonstrating.
