I like it. Very catchy. Found myself chanting it after I walked away. I could see/hear/imagine a growing chorus of voices saying "IMF-Fected" as you proceed with song; can even see the video with that single mom joining in, kids, elderly—a chorus of affected and angry Irish without too much production just beats and voices. Keep writing!
It sounds like another angry protest slogan at the moment and I know you want the angriness and seriousness to come through but perhaps that doesn't mean it can't have humour and make you smile too. That's what you do best, help people relate and feel somewhat relieved afterwards.
@hawaiisaywhat humour could take awy from the seriousnes of what hes trying to say and though more people would probably listen to it less people would actually hear it. maybe i'm wrong....
